I don’t think I will see Nebraaka return to prominence in my lifetime. Too many bad decisions have been made. If they want a chance of turning this around they will have to identify someone who is an exceptional coach and who is very hungry. Someone capable of developing a culture and players to excel and play above their talent level. Until this happens we are in a death cycle that will prevent any real success.

It is terrible what UNL leadership has done with a great program that was the pride of Nebraska. They’re all trash.
We're gonna become like Minnesota. Bunch of Natty's back in the day. Then just started sucking... Forever... Ugh

He visited the Gophers over the weekend according to MN 247 site.

But still, time is right to replace Scott Frost right now.
This is ingenuous really. If you are interested in recruits that we are interested in, have them come visit you when you play us.

I hope other schools don't figure this one out.

All because Nebraska leadership and people in general think small. I don't blame them for hiring Frost, that's the only time they tried to act big, just won't work out.

Not sure what you even mean. The kid is 6'4". Plenty tall for a B1G defensive end. He was offered by 7 B1G schools including Michigan and Penn State. The number one defensive end in the B1G this year is George Karlaftis. He will likely be a first round draft pick this year. Guess how tall he is?
He looks small to me. 6'1"... maybe? And probably 220 lbs. I think he reported height and weight is exaggerated. This one doesn't appear to be a huge loss. It will be interesting to see where he takes the rest of his official visits. I don't care what his offer list looks like if the bigger name schools aren't interested enough to even let him visit.

It wasn't fun, that's for sure. I grew up just a few miles from campus and when I enrolled at the U, I didn't even know who any of the players were, etc. We played at the metrodome, at least you guys had that awesome stadium experience for the Michigan game.

My guess is 1-3 receivers, 1-2 OL for sure. And a RB as well. And then a few walkons that wouldnt have played will transfer out as well.
Wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the large group of receivers that were part of the 2020 recruiting class have portaled out before next year.

This is the time to fire Scott Frost since it's a small class and only throw one class in the trash instead of two.

If Trev does the smart thing and gets someone lined up the day after the Iowa game for the whoever the next head coach will be, chances are that the new head coach will bring some of their own commits with them and the class can live another day.

Hopefully the next head coach has a QB committed that is worth a ****.

Personally I'm hoping Trev is already doing his homework on available and currently unavailable guys. Don't wait till it's too late. Maybe the announcing of it can wait till after the Iowa game but as far as I'm concerned the work should already have begun.

Yeah, sucks to be competing for the division when you could come to Lincoln and try and get the huskers to above .500. What was this kid thinking?

I was thinking more along the lines of playing in an empty, frozen stadium for a dirt bag, used car salesman of a coach.

Yeah, if only we had a local feed store or something to purchase tickets we'd have an awesome sell-out streak going too. Your program's in the *******, no need to throw insults around to make yourself feel better.

Ironic thing to post, as you troll another teams message board. Sad, sad existence.

Minny and NU were pretty much the same crappy team this year.

Good lord the team you root for was on the losing end of one of the all time point spread upsets in the history of CFB.
