This appears to be lost on most fans, but if you didn't notice, Nebraska split up their offensive and defensive squads into three groups. Instead of calling the groups 1st team, 2nd team, and 3rd team, they were the BLACK group, red group, and white group. The "black" shirts designated the first team (as it should be), so in one of his pressers, instead of calling it good on good, coach Rhule called it black on black.

Heard the “doing it the right way” line with the past 4 coaches

Doing it the right way means the number in the win column is much bigger than the number in the loss column

Here’s to hoping he accomplishes that

I used to do that coaching youth hockey. I think in college you can call them 2 nd 3 rd string. If not we have bigger problems

Doing it the right way means, every little part of the game from hands to feet, communication between players is precise. I could care less what you call groups.
