Marcus Fleming. Four star WR out of Miami. One of the fastest WRs coming out of high school this year. Believe he is a state sprinting champion in Florida. He’s small and crazy fast.

W. Robinson and this kid could be scary down the road!

Hope we get him, and I believe we have a great shot to! Getting him and Kaden Johnson is what I am hoping for!

And I wouldnt say 5'11 is that small. Especially with what we have had lately. Isnt around 6' the average size anymore? over that we call them a "big bodied" guy, under that we call them another slot/duckr guy.

I wonder if they would take both Brown and Fleming? Brown looks ready to play now, physically, while Fleming has that world class speed that can't be taught.

Excellent.

If we land both him and Greene, the mensa candidates on that Miami site are going to have an aneurysm trying to figure out how a school in the frozen tundra could pull some of their guys.

It's almost like our coaches have Florida ties or something.

Insert Tyjon Lindsey and it sounds awfully familiar...
Lindsey is a starter at a power 5 school. He just isn't a starter at our school. He came to Nebraska for Riley...not for NU. When Riley left, he gave it a shot, and jumped ship before it was too late. Considering how many guys haven't panned out it was probably a good decision.

Marcus Fleming looks pretty fast, but the sprinting champion who runs a 10.43 100m is actually his brother, Da'Marcus Fleming. Very confusing that their names are so similar. Marcus appears to be the better football prospect:

Given that he would sit behind Wandale and JD, it was 100% a good decision.

Go find the link to TOS on 3rd page of Greene’s commit thread. They were all claiming Nebraska has the bag men out in full force. I’m sure their suspicions will be “confirmed” when we win the “bidding war” for Francois and Fleming. It’s a meltdown of epic proportions.

If Nebraska lands Fleming, then Verduzco's speed city tweet he likes to use with each recruit will be very fitting for Fleming. Would be a really nice pick up! Would there still be room for Alante Brown if Fleming commits?

I think hes closer to 5"9.5 and 160. At least thats what he measured earlier this year at the opening.

Im sure he could grew a half inch and five pounds or so but who really knows.

Either way he would be a welcomed addition. Can never have to many Florida track guys on ur football team lol.

He's closer to Demariyus Houston than Wandale. The issue is strength, not speed or athleticism. Wandale arrived bigger and stronger than the other newcomers at receiver.

Alante Brown looks a lot like Wandale did, ready to play now. Fleming is in more of a Killins mold, lightening fast, but thin.

If NU closes on Kaden J, Fleming and Francois, it looks like a final ranking of 17 on Rivals. NU jumps UNC, but TX just got a 5* commit and will likely finish ahead of NU. However, if NU closed on those three and got another couple of 5.8 or above 4*s, a jump above PSU is possible.

Absolute gold. Have no idea how tomorrow is going to go, but:

1). To a person, every poster on that site thinks their staff sucks. Sucks.

2). Given that, not sure why there is such surprise that other programs are taking their targets.

3) This is why criticism should be tempered.

That entire site is full of posters ragging on everything about their own program. Thread after thread. Staff sucks, record sucks, conference sucks, facilities suck, fan attendance sucks, weak willed players suck, we always get left at the alter and that sucks, other programs besides Miami have also figured out how to pay players so they're leaving and that sucks, this sucks that sucks it all sucks.

Nope. I don't think that would be the #1 factor in a recruit deciding where to go. But if you're a kid trying to decide, say, FSU or Miami and you end up on there and a hundred "fans" are burning their own program to the ground, you cannot believe that doesn't weigh in on a decision.

Yikes...that is a weird thread to read. Do all of those fans really believe we're paying recruits? Now I remember why I stopped reading other teams boards...and how ironic a fan base like Miami accuses another team of paying players.

Of course they do. When someone forms an opinion, pretends it is a fact, then convinces themselves that every reasonable person agrees with it, then it is far too painful and takes far too much character to admit they might be wrong.

Hence why people believe in conspiracy theories.

Landing a kid from Northwestern High in Miami is always a positive. I think that Fleming would be higher on my board then Brown simply do to the positive recruiting that land 2 NW kids in this cycle can do for our program moving forward.

I think both show promise as recruits, playing wise

While I totaly agree, there's usually some truths in all this.
Besides, when has miaml ever been anything without them chesting?

This bodes well possibly for this immediate generation, money cant buy em off, being cool depends on what have you done lately.
Usc is also struggling, the cool of the cool, brats a plenty wanting to go there because its cool.
I think that shine is wearing off of those programs, and much of the fanbase are much the same, except they have nowhere else to go.

I thought our board was bad, but even with how bad the season was and how bleak things looked before recruiting picked up I have never seen this board get as that Miami board is now. Pat yourselves on the back boys. You're all better people than the Florida man.

Where from? @Harry Caray indicated that TOS had him leaning to Wisconsin...

The Wisconsin writers on the other site said Kaden to Nebraska is not a done deal. Minnesota writer says Minnesota and Nebraska don't have room for him, which doesn't make sense why our coaches would have visited on Saturday, unless they didn't think we would land both Greene and Butler. But in this case, I would think Aho would be the odd man out and we would take Kaden instead.
