Rumors about getting some more commits soon from the January 12th official visits. He is one of those.

Edit**That makes 3 out of the 8 visitors from the Rivals OV page with another possibly committing tomorrow when he meets with Frost. Sure would be nice to land Tannor and/or JJB.**

Good height. How do we keep getting kids from Florida to come all the way out to Lincoln, Nebraska?

We definitely needed a corner in this class. This probably means that Taiyon Palmer isn't coming (saw that he got a Bama offer today).

Where are the UCF fans that said Florida kids won't come to cold Nebraska?

VT is a darn good offer with their typical defense and how they play it. He is a good get and that size allows for some more physical play to be disruptive on routes and to perform run support as well.

Nice get, finish this class with some darn good quality so far and there is more coming.

Yeah once Palmer got that Bama offer Clark committed soon after.
Palmer would have been a great get, but it’s great to have a solid option like Clark available and waiting, which is something I’m not sure the previous two staffs would have had.

Any chance we can get Palmer? Or are we done at CB?

Keep in mind that none of the recruits Frost has landed have even experienced a Gameday in Lincoln - which is usually our #1 selling point. They've visited in the middle of the cold winter with an empty stadium. Wait until they get recruits in here on gameday weekends.

This is one recruiting aspect I'm excited to see..

Exactly.
I’m excited to see what the staff can do with a full year to work on recruits instead of a few weeks.

With official visits getting pushed earlier, there will be many more recruits that never experience a game day, unless they pay their own way to Lincoln for a game. Those April to June official visits will be a whole lot easier to coordinate than finding the game day Saturday where both the college is playing at home and the recruit has a game that allows him to get to Lincoln for the full experience.

Good point, though I imagine many of those early visits will be used on the weekend of the spring game. Hopefully we'll be able to convince some of the early visitors to come back for a game unofficially.

I think the Spring Game will be the biggest Recruiting weekend this state has ever seen. I expect 80K at the spring game and this staff I believe will have at least 30 scholarship recruits there. We could see the 2019 recruiting season start with 5-10 commits within two months of the spring game. If you think this staff is going to relax after LOI day next month you are mistaken.

Hopefully we have some OV’s left to give kids.. we are in the single digits now.

None the less, it feels good to be able to get a quality prospect instead of reaching this time of the year.

Are you sure there wasn't any simulation done? If it was me, and I had all the money in the world, like the Nebraska Athletic Dept, I'd be developing a VR experience so even if they visit in Jan the can get an idea of what it'd be like.

Edit: How sweet would be to be able to relive some of the greatest Husker moments in Memorial stadium. What was it like when Notre Dame came to town (it was awesome) or when Crouch caught pass from Stuntz, or trucked the Iowa player.

Hey guy, you wanna really see the the tradition, go to the VR room.

Get on it Nebraska, time to set yourself apart, again.
