BCU is one of those programs that is going to fade into obscurity, if they haven't already, joining a couple of those other pretender programs in the acc.

I think it's Devante Cross an athlete but really a duel threat QB. Not a bad QB but just got a Virginia offer. His junior highlights is impressive.

I believe BC is changing to a pro Set Offense and wonder if Anthony Brown is staying.

Looks like they are coming apart at the seams. I think their D coordinator just took the same position at Michigan, maybe?

Yes, they lost their DC Brown and they are switching to the Pro Set offense.

OKAY.....that's the 2nd HUDL highlight I have seen of great looking and available Dual Threat QB's that would be perfect for a Urban Meyer/Tom Herman type offense. Let's stop playing games with QB recruiting.....Get these guys on the roster and run the offense with a dual threat QB instead of trying to force fit a pocket QB into this system.

There are 10 guys in the whole country who can run a true pro set. There are hundreds of dual threats.

My post was more about those who don't want to turn the page and still want to bring in Pro Style QB and try to fit him in this system....this system works best with a running threat at QB....we may just have to lose a loyal commit.

Why do people assume that Russo cant run? If he was black or Hispanic would we make the same assumptions. Believe it or not, white males have evolved to the point were we can run and jump.

I think you're absolutely right. When they first joined the ACC years ago and broke apart the original Big East that was their first step into obscurity. If it wasn't for Matt Ryan they would already be an also-ran.

We're talking about the guy who led his team in carries as a true freshman and led the team in carries through 4 games last season before he broke his foot (after putting up a very nice 24-119-1 line).

Who are you talking about?
Talking about the same one. look at the game box scores and maybe actually watch the games rather than looking at total carries. he was only the leading carrier in two of the games, averaged 3 yards a carry, and was losing favor with the staff. I'm not saying he isn't a good back or that it didn't hurt losing him. All I'm saying is we had two other good backs in the class coupled with the exodus and it wasn't a surprise he left. Which is what the original comment was regarding when someone said they couldn't believe we lost him to BC

I'm not quite sure how responding with "the third string one?" wasn't meant to imply he wasn't a good back, but sure you can go with that.

Well Cross is listed as an athlete so if he doesn't work out he can be a safety or WR.

If you count our backs as
James
Martin
Hicks
would that be saying Hicks isn't good?

If someone started a general thread about Josh Hicks, and the first response was "you mean our third string RB?" yes I would take that as an implication of not thinking he was good.

You were trying to be a dick about Hilliman...just own up to it.

Lol. Yea I was trying to be a dick to some 19 year old kid I never met. Sorry, I'm a grown up. The poster I responded said to said he couldn't believe we lost the kid to BC as if he was Rashon Gary and we ended up with scrubs. And sorry, but quoting a depth chart is in fact just simply stating the situation at the time

Probably the same reason why people see a QB that is Black and instantly assumes he's a running QB who can't throw. Or say things like perhaps he can play WR or DB.

THAT ....PISSED ME OFF....WONDER WHAT Hansen's role was in ''mis''guiding'' him..

You remind me of a guy who used to post her by the moniker "DougGraber" whom we used to just call "Grabes." Haven't heard/seen from him in a long time hope he's well!
