as you rightfully should have. and i would agree with you had the winner been rubio, kasich, bush, or one of those others whom i don't like but at least have a modicum of respect for. trump has done literally nothing to earn anyone's "respect" other than win an election based off of fear-mongering, populism, and dumbed down rhetoric. oh, and admit on tape to being a sexual assaulter. there is nothing sacred about him or the position of the presidency. **** him and anyone who supports him. i have no problems with the kids who do go, but i also think it's completely within reason to skip it.

Sounds like you kinda need to grow up. Never judge anyone by who they voted for in a presidential election. Just bad policy, IMHO.

This, not Trump, is what is wrong with America. Where has our ability to have a civil
discussion on topics of disagreement gone?? It's sad really. Now, whenever my
snowflake nieces and nephews disagree with my position on a topic I am classified
as a hater, bigot, misogynist, racist, or worse. It can't be that I have reasonable, well-
thought opinion on the topic that just happens to be different from theirs.

We've lost common courtesy, respect for our fellow man and the art of conversation
and debate. It's sad really that everyone has become so entrenched in their own
opinion that they don't/won't open up enough to hear someone else and with so many
media outlets supporting one position or another, now we don't have to.

America is dying and my generation is the one poisoning her. I apologize to my
children for this and for the loss of their privacy. We gave it away and got nothing
in return except talking directions.

I voted for Trump. You have a problem with me?? you haven't met me.
You want to hate me, say F me?? that's your right. But also your loss.
Sad. smh.

jesus christ. you're right, we lost the art of debate the second that the person you voted for got on stage, because he's literally the worst and most incoherent politician i've seen "debate" in my lifetime. we lost the importance of intellectual disagreement the second that he fired an acting attorney general for rightfully disobeying his unlawful immigration order. we lost civil disagreement when he allegedly fired an FBI director this week because comey wouldn't tow the line. you wanna discuss policy? fine. but trump has none, and you voted for him because you're a shill for one side.

Good to know that you hold me in such high esteem.
Just curious, did you have any problem with the DNC's treatment of Sanders?

Idk why I'm even entertaining this, since it shouldn't matter how people choose to use the board, but I literally made one in your TI awards thread earlier this week. And the only threads I've ever started, actually, are football-related. Never started a political thread; I'm just intent on providing a rational viewpoint in the ones that do get made. And to have something nice to point back to when that tangerine ******* doesn't make it past year two.

Tag me when you stop being an embarrassment to women everywhere.

It sounds as though he's upset that his nieces and nephews are smarter than him. Cause that's typically the reason people here use it.

Not upset with them at all, but they couldn't come close to getting in to Clemson. Couple of University of Columbia, SC grads.

this isn't a simple difference in ideology. this is a man who's shown to have complete disregard for the tenets of a free society. so yeah, trumpers (notice i didn't say republicans or true "conservatives," if those still exist) can go **** themselves.

You are a bigot

Full disclosure
I didn't vote for Trump

I don't think you know what a meltdown is. A meltdown would be getting so pissy at what's being said at you on TV that you tweet incessantly and throw out wild accusations with no evidence.

I love that in your rant, after going on about the need for having "civil disagreements", in the very next sentence you label your own family that disagrees with you as "snowflakes". Guess the need for civility only goes one way.

I am/was not currently in a disagreement with them. I was attempting to describe them to a third party and used the appropriate current lexicon. None of my nieces or nephews were hurt in the making of this post. Thank you for your concern, even if your logic was lacking. Have a nice day!

No a meltdown is what you've done here on TI since you changed your handle. I, for one, love to see people on the left go bonkers over this election. It's like taking a toy away from a child and watching them pitch a fit.

I'm no Hillary fan, but dude! What are you saying? This is a guy who's political foes are routinely killed off in "accidents". This is also a guy who heads a country that is "unfriendly" to the US and according to EVERY SINGLE intelligence agency we have tried to manipulate the US election. (Again, if you believe DT... who lies to you every day over EVERY SINGLE US intelliegence agency, well, I got nothing for you) He also ordered an anti air unit into Ukraine that "accidently" shot down a plane with American citizens on it.
You really wanna support the guy that killed your fellow Americans?

um, this is ********. i have never changed my handle and do not even remember who higher education was. how the hell would i have the "joined in 2007" if i was higher education? that literally makes no sense. if you click on higher education's handle, it says he was "last seen on Dec 4th, 2016." i've been posting well before that if you click my profile and select 'view content.' you're not only a terrible poster, but a ****** sleuth.

again, see above. i'm not higher education and don't even recall his postings. i'm sure a mod could confirm this if you're really intent on pursuing this narrative. but it has about as much validity as trump's assertion that "obama wiretapped me!"

seriously, if you want to attack me for being a "libtard" or whatever, then knock yourself out. but don't accuse me of being someone else in an attempt to get me banned or discredited or whatever. because i assure you, if i ever made a second handle, i would certainly make one a lot better than clemsonpaw00 (one of the worst handles on this board because i created it in like ninth grade).

One question for you. Check out the bolded part above. You were being funny when you called your nieces and nephews snowflakes right? I'm assuming so, b/c if you were serious, then it invalidates your whole post.

Anyway, I'm assuming so and couldn't agree with you more. We simply don't even try to understand each other anymore. No matter who you think should have won the election, there's a TON of people who don't agree with you. It takes a really foolish person to simply dismiss that many people as simply "wrong".
