Sounds like you kinda need to grow up. Never judge anyone by who they voted for in a presidential election. Just bad policy, IMHO.
This, not Trump, is what is wrong with America. Where has our ability to have a civil
discussion on topics of disagreement gone?? It's sad really. Now, whenever my
snowflake nieces and nephews disagree with my position on a topic I am classified
as a hater, bigot, misogynist, racist, or worse. It can't be that I have reasonable, well-
thought opinion on the topic that just happens to be different from theirs.
We've lost common courtesy, respect for our fellow man and the art of conversation
and debate. It's sad really that everyone has become so entrenched in their own
opinion that they don't/won't open up enough to hear someone else and with so many
media outlets supporting one position or another, now we don't have to.
America is dying and my generation is the one poisoning her. I apologize to my
children for this and for the loss of their privacy. We gave it away and got nothing
in return except talking directions.
I voted for Trump. You have a problem with me?? you haven't met me.
You want to hate me, say F me?? that's your right. But also your loss.

jesus christ. you're right, we lost the art of debate the second that the person you voted for got on stage, because he's literally the worst and most incoherent politician i've seen "debate" in my lifetime. we lost the importance of intellectual disagreement the second that he fired an acting attorney general for rightfully disobeying his unlawful immigration order. we lost civil disagreement when he allegedly fired an FBI director this week because comey wouldn't tow the line. you wanna discuss policy? fine. but trump has none, and you voted for him because you're a shill for one side.

Idk why I'm even entertaining this, since it shouldn't matter how people choose to use the board, but I literally made one in your TI awards thread earlier this week. And the only threads I've ever started, actually, are football-related. Never started a political thread; I'm just intent on providing a rational viewpoint in the ones that do get made. I don't think you know what a meltdown is. A meltdown would be getting so pissy at what's being said at you on TV that you tweet incessantly and throw out wild accusations with no evidence.
I love that in your rant, after going on about the need for having "civil disagreements", in the very next sentence you label your own family that disagrees with you as "snowflakes". Guess the need for civility only goes one way.
I am/was not currently in a disagreement with them. I was attempting to describe them to a third party and used the appropriate current lexicon. None of my nieces or nephews were hurt in the making of this post. Thank you for your concern, even if your logic was lacking. Have a nice day!

Anyway, I'm assuming so and couldn't agree with you more. We simply don't even try to understand each other anymore. No matter who you think should have won the election, there's a TON of people who don't agree with you. It takes a really foolish person to simply dismiss that many people as simply "wrong".
