I made a number of calls today today and one coach who has coached against Gavin said that from a fundamentals perspective Griffiths most reminds him of Rautins. Obviously, a healthy Rautins. He told me that Gavin is obviously taller and has a better handle at this stage but both as shooters and creators they are substantially similar. On another note,the family was very impressed with Jonathan Holloway. Justifiably. Jonathan is an impressive guy one on one and was an All-American high school football player. So he speaks that language adeptly.He and Mason Gross are far and away the most impressive Rutgers Presidents.

Weird transition from talking about Griffiths to making Pres. Holloway one of the two most impressive presidents at Rutgers. Way way to early for that IMO.

We’ll see as we continue playing in the B1G if Holloway is a good RU President. Hoping he does love sports and he should having played at Stanford.

This makes me sad . From the high of yesterday to getting a journeyman . This is like saying we just signed an Eric clark
Rautins was a nice piece at Syracuse . But just a piece. You want more out of a kid ranked this high. Way more .

If Griffiths ever becomes the 17th pick in the NBA draft, like Rautins, I'll be satisfied.

Hmm …was he talking about Andy or the old man ? I thought he was talking about the kid that played 15 years ago. Check your figures . That kid wasn’t drafted 17th.
