He is always very high on Cal and KY, I have no problem with it if he doesn't like us as much as he does some of the other remaining teams. If we're all being honest, many of us haven't liked our team very much this year either!

I’m also not crazy about the optics of the NCAA telling our whole region that they suck. They don’t need any bigger chips on their shoulders.

A&M is very talented. They have underachieved, but their inside presence is equal to anyone in the country. They did beat the brakes off us earlier this year. I do think we are better than them now because of guard play, but it is not unreasonable to rank them ahead of us

If this tourney has shown us anything... it that the 'experts', and all their insight, don't know much. It's laughable to hear Bilas talk about how Miller will never coach again one night (and then Miller is back coaching two days later) and how under-seeded Arizona is (should be a number 1; best player and one of the best four teams)... and they lose the first round. They know the names of the players and what percentage they shoot, they play to fan bases, but they aren't 'experts', as defined in any other profession.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the list. I guess the way things are playing out this year this is the closest I will come to winning the lotto. We just have to take advantage of our opportunities. And to tell you the truth I do not think I would mind facing Duke in the finals (should we be fortunate enough - I assume Duke will be gifted the spot.)
Cal has been less veiled with his jabs against Duke and the NCAA bias lately and I would like to see him take out Duke (I think he would like a shot as well as he has never struck me as a person who was afraid of anyone.) I think he would have the team running on all cylinders for that matchup. My only worry about that matchup is that the NCAA would not allow for a fair game - Higgins anyone?

I want Duke in that final. I think we have enough to beat them, especially with a fair whistle. I hate those snobby bastards. No matter how much they're fabricated, they're still not as good of a program as UK. Never was and never will be. Biggest bandwagon fan base in basketball. That beating was just the perfect storm. We were there in that game and they shot out of their asses to start the second half. A@M has been so up and down they could easily get handled in their sweet 16 game.

I think that only VIllanova and Duke are better than us now. We can be beat by anyone in the field but only Duke and Villanova would beat us is a series IMHO. The great news is that we would not have to face either one until Monday night for the championship.

We beat them at our place. Admittedly, Not as convincingly. Their front court is as good as anyone and if their guards are hitting shots then they are a legit contender.

Ah yes, actually forgot about that somehow, thanks for the reminder. Just don’t think it could be considered a joke as the poster I quoted alluded to. They were a highly ranked team early in the year as the article alluded too and are as dangerous of a team left in the field when clicking on all cylinders.
