If this keeps up, we won't have any player who likes to fight her teammates or gets pissed when they aren't allowed to shoot the ball at will.

The recent transfers plus the lack of effort make a good case for discord in the program.

Did Chloe Bibby and Andrea Hunter leave before Vic left and NMP was hired, or after? Just trying to determine if the team discord happened under Vic's watch, after NMP, or in between. It certainly appears to have nosedived under Nikki.

I'd agree, but

she could have gone with Vic to Texas.

Sounds like to me this was her opportunity to see America, and she took it.

Did the right thing for her, anyway.

Yeah, not a good sign when your TOUGHEST player who will battle and scrap leaves. I LOVED her moxie and how she rebounded as a guard. Hate to see her leave.

How in the wide wide world of sports do you get "sounds like to me this was her opportunity to see America?". Why does it sound that way?

That's the stupidest 17'ing thing I have read on here in a while... U r an IDIOT!

Espinoza-Hunter was originally going to sit out the season due to Covid. My understanding is she transferred to Seton Hall to be closer to family. She’s from New York.

Agreed. I like Mingo-Young. She’s the last of the Vic style players that really put their nose to the grind stone and play tenacious defense.

Sounds reasonable to me. I mean, she's from Australia. She has a chance to live on the East coast for a year. I get the point. Like when I was in the Army and requested Korea.Definitely not the stupidest thing I've read on here in a while.

From what I read, Bobby announced her intentions the day after Vic left, but she officially entered the portal the day after NMP was hired.

Read into that what you will, but I’m sorry... this disaster of a season isn’t about wins/losses or 1-2 bad apples. It has been a catastrophe of epic proportions, and when you then tell me that the team is declining postseason play because the players/coaches essentially don’t have the will to play, it’s beyond unacceptable.

I honestly don’t know what good firing NMP right now would do because of the train wreck that the program currently is, but holy cow. Spare me the comments about how she “might” be on the hot seat next year if we don’t make the dance. Her seat simply has to be scorching NOW

What was the deal with the former Kentucky coach/State alum? What was his story for leaving? Health issues or something more nefarious? Reckon he’d still have some interest unless I’ve missed something and he’s now persona non grata in big girl college basketball (not a shot at some of the OM teams, ok maybe a little)

She wasn't good. Couldn't shoot and wouldn't give up the rock. Also created problems off the court.

Mitchell suffered a concussion in March. He initially thought he had recovered from the concussion but after experiencing a persistent mild headache sought medical attention. Doctors discovered a subdural hematoma which was addressed with brain surgery in June.

If he’s willing to coach again, I’d go after him. A State alum and a very good coach who is a proven winner in the SEC.
