Tubby had a great under-the-basket inbounds play...that worked. We seem to get lost when other teams execute.

I agree. Why don't we run one. Always too young have to teach fundamentals all over again. I'm not saying I'm a great coach but taught 6-7 grade Jr Pro kids a simple screen for the screener play in less than hour and believe me they were not basketball smart at all. We just throw over top and start offense. So frustrating.

My kingdom for an out of bounds play that doesn't involve P.J. holding his arm up like he's hailing a cab as the first, second, and third options.

Tubby is one of the best at coming out of a timeout or out of bounds situation. Like everyone he had his flaws, but he was very efficient with designing those plays.

Cal is stubborn some times to a fault, not sure why he doesn't run an out of bounds play, I coached 26 years, we always had at least two types of formations for under the basket with two options, number 1 try and score, number 2 just get the ball in bounds. We usually scored at about 50%.
