Deadline Rick?

Excellent read. Love that mixon quote.

[Crazy Cotton]

Man, Rick is not an O fan, no way no how.

[Old Fart Dawg]

This was sweet.

[CoastDawg18]

Good stuff Rick.

I watched three years of it...His Rebels were 3-21 against SEC teams, 3-24 against teams from BCS conferences. At Ole Miss, O won one game in three seasons against a team that finished with a winning record. His last Rebels ranked last in the SEC in scoring offense, scoring defense, turnover margin, rushing defense, total defense, time of possession, red zone offense and kickoff coverage. They were 11th of 12 teams in rushing offense, passing efficiency, first downs, field goals and allowing third down conversions. They were the only team in the league without an SEC victory and they were one of two that was not bowl-eligible. And then there was the 2007 Egg Bowl. Other than that, he was great.

This is my favorite
"Did LSU quit? That might be too strong a discription. But the Bulldogs did beat the starch out of them."

[Snog]

The greatest, Rick. You're right there with Jack.

[HomeBoyDawg]

Mark Twain once wrote to a friend, "I didn't have time to write you a short letter, so I wrote you a long letter." Always enjoy Rick's writing but especially enjoy how he concisely and completely captures the game's atmosphere, highlights, and historical significance,

[Rick Cleveland]

Twain was right, Appreciate that. Too many words is just as bad, if not worse, than too few.

My favorite is, "Believe this: Nobody in the State crowd felt any sympathy for the Tigers".

Thanks Rick, great job!

Hope he stays at LSU forever.

DS, I could be wrong but I believe you've got 1 or 2 brothers that are LSU fans.....What are they saying about O and last nights game?
