Nice win i watched 10 minutes, a tough watch. That's the number 8 team, well that's rough for WBB
What, is Fred your uncle? Don't like the comment? Too bad, deal with it. If Fred could coach his team as well as Williams, he might have a few more wins.
If Fred had a couple of guys who could bury 3s from 35 feet like Amy's girls do, he would win a lot more games. Good heavens there in that last couple of minutes there were some shots from DEEEEEEP. I didn't catch which girl shot them but they were huge buckets. (had to listen with the sound off as my wife was sleeping).

The deep 3s NU made late in the game last night were dead in the center of the rim so the size of the ball wouldn't have mattered. The size of the ball didn't seem to help Michigan as they were trying to jack 3s to get back in the game.
Not sure, few big shots at the end but the majority of that game was unwatchable. I wouldn't have noticed but they had it on TV at the Vine.
Maybe so but same f or all teams...women's that is. Personally I get using 2 sizes in grade school, Jr high and maybe high school. But college could use the same
You did ask if they could switch coaches… I hardly think Williams would be winning more men’s games coaching them…

My original comment was in jest, you know, a bit of humor, guess I should have put the wink or smiley face next to it. But to your comment I’ll say this, so far, Fred is not doing a very good job, his counterpart is, and that’s not up for debate.

No question FH been another disappointment and should have recruited a few more players down in the blocks were they are getting killed rebounding ..
I like Hoiberg, hope he can turn things around, but that might not happen for a few more years as the rebuild continues. Hopefully he can get a few rebounders in the near future.
That's what I was thinking! The girls just defeated a very good and proven #8 team by 21 points and some people call it unwatchable? Lol. I get it you don't see many tomahawk dunks in the women's game but good grief. Now the men have truly been unwatchable under Fred. Just awful in so many ways. Never ever thought his teams would look this bad!

Besides rebounders Fred needs to recruit kids that can actually hit jump shots, pass the ball, check out, hit free throws, play defense, etc, etc, etc.
They could. I shot around with a men's ball with a scrub on a women's final four team when I was in college. She had no problem with it.
Have season tix to both teams. One thing clearly obvious-- Amy is really passionate about her team and goes to battle for them during games. Fred looks like he's taking a nap on game day. Very disappointing. Women play as a team and are fun to watch (most of the time).
They play excellent team defense with plenty of weakside help. The best player in the Big Ten was frustrated and taken out of her game because the opposing five defensive players made things very difficult for her. The use of the pick and roll by all the Lady Huskers help negate the pressure on the ball that Michigan likes to use. The blocking/screening off on the defensive glass last night was impressive. Something that our men's basketball team chooses not to do and therefore get outrebounded by double digits every game. A point guard that is a complete, unselfish player that distributes the ball to all of her teammates. I could go on but those are a few of the coaching fundamentals that I speak of.
If Fred had a big like Markowski it would help a ton! She has better fundamentals than ninety per cent of the boys in Lincoln
