So UConn is in 7th place, but if they sweep this week's games which are at last place USF and home against Tulane, they will rise to 5-4 and perhaps pass Houston into 6th place:

But then comes a game at Cincy which may be tough to win, but notice that Tulsa is 5-1 and UConn had that team beat and gave the game away at the end. The only team with a winning AAC record UConn has beaten is UCF.

Those are in the "we can't lose these games" category for Uconn, it would just be wrong on every level...
USF and Tulane are worse RPI teams than ECU @ #237( almost approaching the Wagner level @ #277)

CBS Expanded AAC Standings (w/ RPI) and a FWIW, overall the American is now standing @ #7 in conference rankings:

If we manage to only have to play one of SMU and Cincy in the tournament I'll be ecstatic.
So would Aresco, he needs Uconn to pull a miracle in the AAC tourney or the XL Center is gonna become more of a ghost town than it's already turning into this year..

These are what I call grenade games because they do nothing to improve your RPI if you win them and they blow up your RPI if you lose them. UConn doesn't have any quality wins at all. I am just hoping they can beat these teams and develop some better consistency with the offense. In any event due to the sacrifice made for football UConn is in the AAC and not the Big East so it is what it is. The team just needs wins.

I think Uconn might want to become a BB school again before the petition goes out to the BE.... the record is bad enough this year without having to play 4 more teams in the top 20... LOL!
