This will be a good team in March. Unfortunately guard play will end the season to soon.
The lack of speed and quickness ,and inability to the create open shots for others will be our downfall. If our guards can not shoot defenders collapse inside allowing no penetration. This equals no open shots, and stagnate offense Hope I'm proven wrong.

Just stop dude. You made you point, weak as it is. I watched this entire game and I saw 5 guys playing what resembled a game of HORSE. No flow offensively, no point guard play, way too many forced shots, lazy reaching fouls all over the court. Askew’s passes are weak and lazy. Boston shoots way to many shots, far too many drives to the basket resulting in wild shots that don’t even draw iron and nobody screening for the other guy. We had an advantage inside with Sarr we failed to utilize, failed to guard the one guy that just beat our brains in shot after shot. Double digit losses, 6-10 seed in tourney at best.

I think a lot of fans realize that the roster a turnover isn’t a mistake—it’s what Cal has created.

So when you look this bad at the beginning of the season, frequently, it gets tiring to hear the excuses of being young and inexperienced.

Its easier to deal with when you have a super team every 2-3 years, but we haven’t seen that now since 15. Instead, the losses are piling up, we aren’t getting 1 seeds, and the natives are (rightfully) getting restless.

Cal always teaches defense first. It will take several games and likely after Camp Cal during the holidays before we see anything resembling coordinated offense.

My biggest surprise thus far is how bad Boston is shooting the ball. If you watched this kid in high school he was an outstanding deep shooter. His shot has looked terrible thus far. Hopefully, he just needs to settle and see a few go down to gain some confidence. Boston has to become a reliable scorer for this team to reach its potential.

I don't know why people don't understand that shooters really need an offense to set them up for a good shot. The best shooter in the world isn't going to hit a high percentage if he's creating his own shot and/or forcing it up with someone in his face. If we would run an offense to get guys open, then they would start going down.

Playing out of control with no team identity and clearly no team leader has emerged as of yet.
This team will come together with time. But will it be enough that is still to be determined.

Overall playing for to much individual stats and not playing as a team (chucking up to many bad shots and circus shots).

I did not even watch the game. Stuff going on that prevented it, but I've read a little about it. Seems I didn't miss anything.
1-2 already this year. This team is lost on offense. 3-21 from 3. In this day and age of basketball, that ain't gonna work. I don't think KU is that good either.

I didn't like "the list" anyway. And owning teams like Kansas, Tennessee, and Auburn was old. Glad Cal has finally brought excitement to the program.

You forgot the best part, NBA draft night is where UK really shines. Don't lose sight of that.

My question is, how the hell did we end up with the worst, anti-UK refs in college basketball? (no Higgins thank God). Adams, Sirmons and Luckie for crying out loud.

We were in control, playing great D, fouls were 4 apiece, up 13. And Boom! 8 straight fouls on us, Sarr on the bench, KU grabs the momentum, and that's all she wrote.

KU's big man was coming off injury & yet UK is laying bricks from outside

Those of you who are OK with this **** year after year need to sign up for the damned participation trophy. Showing improvement from a HOME LOSS to Richmond is settling for mediocrity in my book. This Kansas team is very average and probably gets knocked out in the Sweet 16 round.
So, when does Cal face some tough scrutiny for his fat wallet and thin results?

Okay, but we have a brand new team every year and every year we go through this crap and it seems to be getting worse.
This entire group will be gone after this season, so we get to go through it next year again. There's no end to it.
It used to be next to impossible to come into Rupp and get a win, not anymore.
We can forget about catching UCLA, NBA draft titles mean more to Cal than NCAAB titles.
