Amazing Iowa defense stat

I feel like this game is going to be all about the start. Not ground breaking analysis, but if NU comes out firing and scores early and gets a stop or 2 it is going to be a game I like NU in. If Iowa and their anemic run game come out and establish it early and pound in a 75 yard drive or two, I think Iowa wins big. NU has to get some confidence early to win this game.

Both teams need early success. So, listening or reading Kirk Ferentz today, one can maybe suspect a game like last year.

Iowa never put Nebraska away. Won on final play with FG.

Nebraska's last win wasn't in Lincoln, but in Iowa City. Down 17 in 2nd half, the Huskers came back, forced OT, then won it.

Special teams, turnovers, explosive plays, line of scrimmage ....

This should be a close game according to Vegas.

Favorite has won five straight. Iowa is seeking to win five straight. We shall see what unfolds, but both teams have won in 2019, due to early good starts.

Iowa lost three games, due to falling behind. They did win at Iowa State, down 14-6 and forced a fumble, as I recall and at 14-9, pulled it off eventually.

Nebraska started well as I recall against both Indiana and Purdue. However, didn't sustain for 60.

Spelling Iowa that way for starters is ripping off Northwestern, and secondly ironic since we have almost every W against you guys for quite awhile now. Not that anything you guys say is original anyway. The only insult you can give is trophy case, which is great if you're into antiques i guess
