any proof that you know of any of this?

Proof of what? I have no knowledge of the specifics of AM’s injuries but i know more than most regarding acl injuries and the bs spouted off on here by posters that like to pretend they know what they’re talking about.

Huh? People just pull ******** terms out of their *** they don’t understand. A terrible triad? Elaborate. Tell me all about it.
Three major ligaments in the knee, that holds it all together. Hence, possible strain or tear of all three. I'm just guessing. I don't believe people talk out of their *** here. I do, but I'm new. GBR!

what BS was spouted off by posters here?
That we were hoping it isn't worse than it looked?

We all remember you going ape **** with supposed definitive answers.

Holy **** I hope you are right. This team had bright spots today. This is not a Riley coached team. They showed flashes of excellence. If we can get Martinez back we still have a chance at a good season. But if he is out, we are in a world of hurt
we used to have a couple players around playing different positions who have played qb before. I wonder of we have any of them?

Big Red Overreaction just announced he's not on crutches and is walking around with it iced.
I totally blew out my ACL a few years ago and was literally trying to run it off right after it happened. I refused to believe it was hurt. A few hours later, I could barely bend it. I could easily walk around with no ACL though. My spidey sense is telling me Martinez's is more than a sprain. I suspect he tore his MCL or LCL. Hopefully they are just sprained or minor tears. I totally pulled my medical opinion out of my backside though. I hope it is just a sprain.

It doesn't seem like you do because you are spouting. Relax.. Take a day to gather information before you say anything that makes you look like an *******. It's a good policy.

The kids actually looked good for most of the game. Alot of mistakes, but we actually saw some Husker football.

like I said if you watch when the trainers was looking at him on the field, martinez was pointing 3 inches below his knee....it looked bad but seeing him get tackled he looked flexible, like gummy

Tom Brady walked off the field after his terrible knee injury as well.
We need a replay to guess AM's injury.

I'm just sharing what I heard from 1620. I saw AM point too. I'm nervous that it's bad as well.

An isolated lsl injury would be over the top rare. The lsl is very flexible and not prone to injury. AM could have an acl injury but i doubt it. He didn’t have the mechanism for it

hoping for a grade 2 or less sprain. Would suck if he suffered a terrible triad

Any idea how jacked up AMarts knee is?.
We probably won't know for sure till Tomorrow or Monday. If it isn't a season end injury it is something that is probably going to affect him for many games if not the rest of the year. The odds of him being 100% within the next 3-4 games is slim. A knee injury of any kind is not good.

Who was the Nebraska player that tore his knee up a few years ago and didn’t even know it till a week later when it started getting stiff/sore and they did an MRI?? I think he played defense.

If Martinez is out for the season I can say two things with confidence:

1. Gebbia made a big, big mistake. Impetuous and emotional.
2. We will not have a winning season. Bunch will also not last the season.
When Frosty got on campus he had Lee, O Brien, Gebbia, Martinez.

Gebbia made the mistake ?

I don’t like that he transferred,I don’t like the roster mgt

MCL is what I'm hearing from other boards. If so, hopefully not too bad

Yes, but that still doesn't make me very optimistic about our season. I remember Rex just not being the same his senior year after his MCL, but hopefully AM's isn't as bad.

Sending good thoughts from Hawkeyeland for good news regarding AMarts knee.
Hopefully it's minor and he's back on the field soon. Seems like a dynamic and impressive young QB.

I heard its a grade 2 MCL sprain. Out 3 weeks minimum, then they check him again. :(

Edit: This might turn out to be false. Checked on my friend's info and there's nothing to back it up.
