So have you checked your email? There’s a request and QR code on there to download an app. It will sync your phone with the pregame video. Not sure what will happen but it looks like it’s gonna be cool.

Also there is a Champion’s Fund deck with free snacks and a coach will give a chalk talk before the game.

Get there early today. I’m planning to get there about an hour early.

Yes, download the app. If you download it, you can tap the 3 lines on the top-right and then tap demo. Choose the first option, and it shows a demo of what it does. At a simple level, it uses your phone's microphone to pick up the sound of music in the arena and then uses the camera flash (flashlight) and syncs it to the music. If a majority of people participate, it will look really really cool in the arena. The app also includes taking selfies to be shared on the video board and participating in trivia during the game.

According to the commentators at the women's game, the Champion's Fund deck will also have food service during games so fans can get food without missing any of the game. But maybe they meant the free snack pre-game.

I just did a count, and about 380 tickets are remaining.

So I was listening to Rick Couri on the Blitz this morning. The other guy (Dan Hawkins??) had an interesting idea. Said he told Carson about it.

Every school needs that viral thing. Like AZ State has the Curtain of Distraction. He suggested installing a slide from the President's suite to the student section. Maybe the new mascot could use it. Pretty much a liability issue, but I like the out of the box thinking.

It'd be kind of hard to make it back up there for the second free throw.

Could put an inanimate object on the slide. If you want liability issues, send a large doll/stuffed animal down the shute, dressed up in bright colors, w/ SPARKLERS in it's hands/paws. That would be a definite distraction. Or maybe those blue smoke bombs they use at soccer games streaming down the slide.

Maybe we could send an effigy of the mascot down to the student section for mauling

New coach, New game innovations, new president, new atmosphere....Complete
role reversal, including the chair backs....The last several years we have had
5000+ chair backs pretending to be fans vs. our opener when we had well over
6000 fans pretending to be chair backs.....Well, maybe not....The crowd wasn't
miked very well and the level of crowd noise was hard to pick up.....

Wonderful differences....
