Defending gains nothing. Just looking for another thing to complain about.

You get the ball to start the second half which is waaay more important than opening with the ball. obviously you know very little about Football!
It is not more important. Scoring first can be a big deal. Maybe you need to brush up on your football knowledge. My friend

Please explain?
Explain how you think it is may more important to get it to start the 3Q? Every possession counts the same and some teams like to attack and start on O, try to get the early lead. It’s silly to say it is way more important to get the ball to start the 3Q.

I guess being the ONLY team in the country to use this senseless approach is the new Nebraska way!
Only team in the country, lulz. You should probably just take the L on this one and find something else to ***** about.

watch any other game and get back to me, I’ll be waiting! Maybe your mom only lets you watch Nebraska, but no one, I mean no one, takes the ball, they always defer.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. We have had opponents win and take the ball against us this year. Deferring is one of those conventional wisdom things that is slowly fading away.

No they haven’t! Actually teams used to take the ball to start the game then about 20 years ago now everyone defers except us and probably UCLA.

Scott's scheme is based on getting the max opportunities for his offense to score. So, when winning the toss, he wants the ball.

Scheme is bawd in scoring points. You can accomplish the same thing with having a good D. How long are you going to keep this line of bull going?
