Boy are they ever. Or at least they need to be.Alternate running backs coming out.
Yep. I guess I didn't recall it being called "red out". But know what you are saying. And yes I didn't like them at the time, and especially since we got killed, and everytime they bring alternative uniforms back it's like a beltch from a bad onion.Alternates don't seem to work out well for NU. The first I can recall is the "Red Out" against OU in '86. The unis and the game result both sucked.

Maybe we can trick OURSELVES into being a different teamCool. Maybe we can trick IU into thinking we're a different team.
Thus was born my hatred of alt uniformsAlternates don't seem to work out well for NU. The first I can recall is the "Red Out" against OU in '86. The unis and the game result both sucked.

Yep. B Y E doesn't have a very productive offense. In fairness, the defense did pitch a shutout last week.
I like these alternatives and am intrigued to see what they come up with for the road in the future.

Keith Jackson was money. That darn OU. The minute we had the wishbone broken, they would hit us down the middle to their tight endHa!
I editorialized on "Red Out." To my knowledge they didn't have a name for it. #5 NU was leading 17-7 after three quarters only to watch #3 OU score 13 unanswered to win 20-17. Jamelle Holieway and Keith Jackson were the culprits.
Clearly it was the fault of wearing our red pants at home. Smokin
