The textbook meaning is double backwards. Retro is a prefix meaning backwards. And reverse obviously means backwards. So my practical meaning is of reverse retro is...

Kansas looks fine. If ours was maroon or white with “State” on the front, they’d look fine. I hate that M-State logo on the front. It looks like Wal-Mart.
I've seen us wear much worse. More than once. Our worst seems to be getting better. I'm encouraged. Baby steps.

Those are just so unimaginative, the whole line of them. It looks like the uniforms our local sporting goods store would put out for all the youth league teams I played on 50 years ago. For all you Adidas apologists, I don't care how much money they gave us when nobody else was interested. I just live for the day now that we kick them the hell off of our campus. Our colors aren't gray, black, or gold and since the jersey doesn't have the 3 stripes on them you can count on them being on the pants. For all of you that buy that sideline garbage they overprice and put 3 stripes on, you look like clowns too

This is cap. Adidas is infinitely better than Russell. We aren't a Nike school and if we were we'd be the 400th program allowed to sit at the dinner table after Nike sucked off Florida, LSU, Ohio State and all the other scumbags first. Adidas has paid us a very large amount of money and continue to do so to be able to outfit all of our teams. For $20 mill I think we can let them showcase something new every once in a blue moon. What's the preference here y'all wanna be Bama and never ever change our uniforms? Yeah no thanks. That **** is boring.

Ours is the best looking of the 6 in the picture, at least. Not exactly maroon and white though.

We're a bigger deal to Adidas than we'd be to Nike. If they want to waste their "showcase" game with a grey jersey so be it. Adidas has been with us for almost two decades now. They highlight the **** out of us during baseball and they've been more than just an apparel company that's paid MSU 8 figures as well when they handed Howland to us. Fat chance Nike is going out of their way to gift us a coach any century soon. It's not Adidas fault the color options they have to choose from are maroon, white, black or grey. We already have all Maroon, all white and all black games. What the 17 you want them to do with our color options when the theme for these jersey's is reverse-retro? An all white jersey with maroon highlights is just a standard away jersey.
