Wasn’t intended to, just mentioning it almost adds insult to injury of the failure in all phases of the game.

And of course Fitz's choice to go for it on 4th down at the 15 yard line instead of kicking the FG resulted in a potential ten point swing.
Ah yes, how could I forget. If our kicker is doing that poorly maybe you could see how he makes that call, but really? That was probably the game killer right there because it was in fact a 10 point swing, it finally brought the game to a margin where they thought they could take over, and although we answered with a TD, we never truly got momentum back.

Definitely a head scratcher. Fitz passes up a 32 yard FG when up by eight but later elects to try a 43 yard FG (which the kicker missed). If you don't have faith in him from chip shot range, then why from 10 yards farther away?

Completely turned the game around. This was an easy decision and Fitz inexplicably elected to go for it. For the record, I was screaming at the call BEFORE the pick six.

He was doing the "imposing the will" thing on that first 4th and 2. I had watched us barely getting one yard on a couple of previous "impose our will" plays and was yelling at the screen for Fitz to do a play action pass. He did not hear me and put the play on the shoulders of the O-Line. Akron imposed their will on us.

I believe that the coaches came to grips later with the fact that the O-Line was losing the battle against this MAC D-Line and that affected their risks and play calling.

On other words, in 30 minutes everything that could possibly go wrong went horribly wrong.
