In addition to Buford not being a good DB, Marshall is also not a good DB. I understand that athletic training has progressed to the point that white dudes can actually be fast, but these are Northwestern white dudes getting separation on our DB's on a potential game winning cross field deep fade where if the QB is better, yesterday possibly goes to OT.

Marshall has played great all year. The NW wr has torched everyone all year. Conclusions based on superficial judgements without any real information is just lazy and ignorant.
White guy has 39 catches and is by far their best WR...he only had 3 against the huskers...and his worst day of the season. Of ALL the ******* things to complain about on this team, there are a thousands...the secondary is not one of them.
Shame on me for not checking stats prior to posting. So since this kid is their top threat, why aren't we lining up our best DB C. Wright on him with the game on the line?
They were a bit better this week, but MN destroyed us on 3 yd drag routes. Were our DB's not exposed a bit, or do you put that entirely on scheme?
We are in the bottom 3rd in rushing defense, and statistically the best pass defense in the nation. Lets not worry about this. It is part scheme and part opponents and part roster.

You can tell this is wearing on Rhule. His comment that he'd "just like to see any DL actually use a pass rush move" was pretty revealing!
How about they stop the run? THEN we can start worrying about the DB's!
