Ditto. Will be in Seagrove Beach for about a week. Going down Friday. Carry a few books. Will need them this weekend. Looking like rain until at least Tuesday. But after Sunday, it’ll be the scattered variety. At least that was last time I looked this afternoon.

Based on someone’s recommendation on here, I ordered “Rising Tide” from Amazon. The story of the great flood of 1927, and how it changed Mississippi. Plan to get through it this weekend.

Good book!

My buddy says it's the best book he has ever read. It's on my list.

NHC keeps moving the 17n cone of death east.

We are expecting a good bit of rain over the weekend in Navarre. Destin has a similar forecast of 90% Fri/Sat. The biggest issue will be surf conditions. Surf forecast for Destin is 5ft-9ft on Fri, 6ft-10ft on Sat. so expect red flags/rip current warnings at the beach. Destin surf forecast: https://magicseaweed.com/Destin-Surf-Report/851/

Headed to Fort Morgan myself. I assume it will be even more impacted, since we're even farther west.

I too ordered it per someones recommendations on here. I'll finish my current book in the next day or two and start it this weekend. The irony isn't lost on me.
