Roland was amazing, but Callie was the one who amazed me.
I wonder what they would have done if both had finished 100 days?

Season 7 was amazing. Yes Roland was the more skilled outdoorsman, but Callie had the best attitude of all the characters, I was pulling for as well.

Best show on tv. After the first two episodes I thought Roland would win but you never know. I’ve watched this show since season 1. This was by far the most difficult challenge.

I am watching Marco Polo right now... I may just check out Alone next. I like survival shows when done right. I can't stand them when they are made so obviously fake.

I’ve never watched an episode BC I figured it was something between Pawn Stars, Oak Island, and Mountain Men, but I may hafta check it out. I used to love Survivorman.

Good show Roland was built for this challenge.

I just realized watching the post show event that Roland looks a lot like Dan Mullens**

Give me the season 6 winner over all of them. That dude was a legit badass. Reminded me a lot of myself.

It really is the best show on tv. Callie was my favorite. Roland was a machine. I've seen a few seasons, need to see them all. These people make my 7 day backtrips w freeze dried mountain house meals look like childs play. It's the real deal. My 10yr old son also liked it.
I did hate the California millennial who built 1/4 of a shelter and kept making excuses of why he didn't suck... because he did.

Got any suggestions for a 3 to 4 day trip?
Like your top 3 based on enjoyment and difficulty level? I’m not trying to rock climb a cliff but I don’t need paved trails either.

During the Fall of the year when Mosquitoes kinda get knocked back an easy trip would be the Pearl River between lower head and Ratliff. A lot of the land and all the islands are Pearl River WMA so you could stay on sandbars and hunt/trap as long as its in season. Could catch all the fish you could eat too from the pearl.

Heck yes
The 4 pass loop outside Aspen is a great 4 day trip. No permit reservation needed, about 27 total miles, so can do in 3 days why rush? Crazy fitness people do this in a day...

Eagle Cap wilderness in east Oregon, no reservation and not well known or documented but none are better. Search Mirror Lake eagle cap. It's near a town called Wallowas. Add glacier lake to the trip.

And the Grand Teton loop looks great 4 days. I was supposed to go but covid killed it. Need to get a permit and it's hard to get.

And anything in Glacier is good but most is closed this year for covid, also hard to get.

Also North cascades in Washington , had a trip planned there one July and got snowed out but the Copper Ridge loop looked awesome, never got back to it.

And you need permit but the Rocky mtn national park Continental divide loop starting in Grand Lake North Inlet trail was awesome, took 5 days but just 2 hard ones and included a day side trip to lake Nanita. So you could do in 3 or 4.

No suggestions for east, all the good views are out west.

Hope that helps
