Ended her Thursday round at even par, tied for 19th. Leader is -4, but there's still quite a few players on the course.

One of State’s players Abbey Daniel is playing also, I believe she ended at +10 today.

Looks like she's playing as an amateur, so she couldn't get paid even if she won.

The winner gets $1M. Never heard of an women's tournament with such a payout.

Dang, that amount might make Mutt tell Mrs Hopple to swap the broom for a putter. Good for them. I like watch women’s golf. I hit similar, kinda, yardages to most of them, so it’s fun to see how I should be able to play a course.

It’s a 5.5 million dollar purse, I think the largest ever for women. The current leader is a 17 year old amateur, my daughter has played against her younger sister before.

I was there too at the first round. Never have I ever seen so many nylon shirts so soaked with perspiration. It looked like a soccer mom wet t-shirt contest.

I think the Bryan’s are angling for another big tournament with Missy Oak. They highlighted the mess out of all the “environmental responsibility” that went into that course. It just felt like they were playing to the political aspect of landing one of those tournaments. I think women’s golf is a much bigger attraction now than when they hosted the women’s us open, so I’m not sure the Golden triangle could handle it, but hopefully it works out.

The amateur Megha Ganne shot an even par round today so she's still at -4, tied for the lead in the clubhouse, 1 stroke out of the lead with the leader still on the course. She's only a junior in high school.

Ally is at +1 through 5 holes today. She'll be on television a fair amount tonight most likely, since she won last week.

She eagled a par 4 to go to +2, then bogeyed the following Par 3 to currently be +3 through 9. They're not showing her much on television - tied for 23rd but it's not as bad as it sounds. Leader is -6 and hasn't started play yet today.
