Thats what she said.It will only grow from here on out.
They're just lobbing softballs nowThats what she said.
Defending National Champions and Top Ten-ranked UNC came into Rupp Arena on December 5, 2009, in John Calipari's first year, with a chance to cut the All-Time wins lead to THREE. Their fans already had a thread on "Inside Carolina" counting down the days until they got the lead.
The UNC-Cheats aren't even in the immediate conversation anymore.
Kansas' recruiting is way down - more than Kentucky's. They SHOULD be required to forfeit every game De Sousa played. But even if not, they will endure some sanctions that will damage their program for at least a few years.
Kentucky is sitting on a very promising season next year, as anyone knows who follows recruiting and the transfer of Oscar Tschiebwe.
The only way Kansas prevails is if John Calipari gets sick of the most hysterical fringe element of the fan base and leaves.
Since you specifically asked me, I'll respond. And remember, you asked me.Are you satisfied with recruiting the Number ONE class 12 years and going to possibly two NIT's and no FF in the last 6 years? Most of us are used to WINNING, but to each his own. Where did this class rank? Have they lived up to your expectation, evidently your expectations are low. We had it before Cal, and we damn sure will have it after he's gone. What was he before he come to UK? A coach who had wins taken away from him at two different schools, and fired from the NBA. Not an outstanding record. His only claim is, "He could sell the NBA to high school players." Good snake oil salesman. Would you buy a used car from him, I wouldn't! I'm not against him if he wins, if not, get the hell out. Represent who paying you, not the NBA. I don't give a **** for the NBA.

I find the arguments of people like you for getting rid of the coach who over the past ten years won a championship, has been to more Final Fours than ANY other program, who has been as far as the Elite Eight or better SEVEN out of the past ten tournaments, who won the SEC outright just LAST YEAR with a team that might have won it all, so ludicrous as to be an embarrassment to the fan base.
Some who are trying to push out Cal are really fans of other programs who hate Kentucky and want him gone to hurt our program. I get that.
But any real Kentucky fans who want him gone based on losing in overtime in the Elite Eight in the last NCAA tournament, or losing to a very, very good and highly experienced Wisconsin team in 2015, or in things falling apart this year with Covid-19, and with a team that has not yet played one game with its full roster, are so foolish that it almost defies understanding.
As for the argument, "He only wants to put players in the NBA." That strikes me as a ridiculous mis-characterization of an obvious and effective tactic: Show the best players in the country that you genuinely care for them and their future, and you'll bring those best players to Kentucky. Has it worked? No other program has been in the hunt for a championship -- defined by advancing past the Sweet 16 with a team at least capable of winning the next four games -- as often as Kentucky in the time he has been here.
I notice you say, based on a real Kentucky fan. I have been a real Kentucky fan for over 70 years. I doubt you have been that long. The difference in us, is I am a real Kentucky fan, not a real Coach fan, unless they are winning at UK and put UK first. Take the time to read his book, "It's all about the players," and it might enlighten you as to his thinking.
I see that making the FF is what you base a lot of your thoughts on. In the last 6 years, UK has not even made the FF, with the Number One recruiting class. During his time at UK, three schools have won 2 NC's. The last 6 years, he has not been to a FF. You say last year, "He might have won it all." Well, he might not have. We can play the might game all day. In 2015, he had by far the best team, and was clearly outcoached. He was to stubborn to take the twins out in the last 3 minutes of the game. Wisconsin's center had four fouls on him, and Towns had his way with him, but Cal would not make the twins pass the ball to Towns. Against Kansas State, again, he was clearly out coached. in the NCAA Tournament.
Evidently you think that UK is the only team that has been affected by COVID. That is about as stupid statement as I have heard anyone make, when defending Cal. How has he done the last 5 years, did COVID affect him then? I don't want to hear a bunch of if's, just FACTS, which most Cal suckers refuse to give.
As far as wanting Cal gone, I have always said, "I don't want him gone, if he can do the job, but if not, get him out, and next coach up." I support UK, not the coach! The coaches who come to UK get more money in one year, then most of us will make in a lifetime, which is fine if they WIN, not this IF crap. I don't think the UK fans do the recruiting, or the coaching, so don't blame them for wanting to win. How many other coaches have went to 2 NIT's in ten years of coaching at UK, since they expanded the NCAA to 64 teams? I don't have a problem with your post. In life, some of us expect more, and some are like you. Everyone has a choice, and I think yours and mine are light years apart. I love winning!

Who are your top 5?
I would liked to have seen Cotton Nash and Louie Dampier play.
Actually, the lead is down to 7 now and is only going to get smaller, since Kansas is actually playing in the NCAA tournament, unlike the so called gold standardDefending National Champions and Top Ten-ranked UNC came into Rupp Arena on December 5, 2009, in John Calipari's first year, with a chance to cut the All-Time wins lead to THREE. Should be at 8 if it was at 9 on Feb. 5th. KU has only won 1 game since then. However, even the 12-7 Jailbirds won't be able to screw up their next 3 goliath matchups:Actually, the lead is down to 7 now and is only going to get smaller, since Kansas is actually playing in the NCAA tournament, unlike the so called gold standard
Correct, my mistake, thank you for pointing that out. Thankfully the wins lead likely won't change hands this season, but if Cal doesn't clean up his act radically next year, then it will be gone before the start of 2022Should be at 8 if it was at 9 on Feb. 5th. 2-12 Iowa ST
@ 2-12 Iowa St
@ 5-15 K State
So it is going to get real close more than likely.
Because Kentucky being the all-time winningest college basketball program is the most prestigious accomplishment we have, right behind the 8 titles. It's one of the first records UK fans like to brag about. The stat is a huge deal and Cal losing it would be yet another crippling blow to the program and his reputationForgive me for asking. But why does it matter?

It doesn't “really” matter. The only thing that “really” matters is your current relationship with Jesus Christ for salvation purposes after you die.Forgive me for asking. But why does it matter?

It is nice to be able to create your own reality. There is just so much you can do with it that allows you to smile when you should be crying. It allows you to believe that next year is going to be different than the previous 6 seasons. It enables you to pick and choose when you live in the present or live in the past while treating it like the present. It enables you too come up with convenient excuses for poor performance, COVID virus. Really!! In an alternate reality, you pretend that only your team is handicapped by the virus.Since you specifically asked me, I'll respond. And remember, you asked me.

Enjoy living in your alternate reality for as long as you can because eventually you will have to rejoin the rest of us in reality. The one in which Kentucky has given a coaching contract for live to a coach who has become an SNL joke. The one where the team has only won 5 of 18 games with very little prospect for winning another one. The one where the once master of OAD recruiting is being schooled by his contemporaries which has left the master picking from their leftovers.Since you specifically asked me, I'll respond. And remember, you asked me.

Your condition is worse than I thought. I didn't realize you were also suffering from an acute case of denial. With this added information, it is obvious that there is no hope for you.Lol. You sound a little unstable. Alternate Realities? Maybe it’s just your schizophrenia kicking in and out.
They've played 5 more seasons of basketball meaning the winning percentage isn't that close.

Truthfully, the all-time wins lead is in jeopardy NOW. I think the actual lead we have over Kansas is down to 7 or 8 wins. There is a very real possibility that Kansas catches or passes us either in the Conference tourney or early in NCAA play.Kentucky will have a very subpar year next season. KU will catch/ maybe surpass by 2023.
