Things haven’t went our way the last few years but how would you like to be a Hoosier fan. Didn’t realize we were tied in NCAA championships with them at 5. We have won three since since they won their last one 35 YEARS AGO!!! Hope we never fall off the Cliff like they have it has been a LOONNGG fall for them!!

You can’t cherry pick a 9-16 (oh my God, just typing 9-16 out is unbelievable) record and a loss to Saint Peters (Holy shite we lost to St. Peters, my Lord).

I think very few are acting the sky is falling. But a lot of us are justifiably concerned.
I honestly didn’t even think of Cal I was just thinking of how bad Indiana has fallen. You twist it how you may. If you can’t see how bad Indiana has fallen in the last 35 years you have tunnel vision. I don’t feel our program has suffered near as bad as theirs. I did say our last few years haven’t left me happy. I thought this year was progressing decent until the injuries took their toll. Once again hope we don’t go on an Indiana slide.
Yep. Knights acted angry at everyone. When IU fired him he turned that ire at the school. Didn’t attend games after he retired. He was their Rupp and he turned his back on them. Lol

Sorry it didn’t pique your interest I just looked up Indiana and was shocked that they were tied with us at 5 NCAA titles. Just stating that we definitely have had a better 35 years than they have if that hurts your feeling move along I don’t have an agenda. Give me facts on what I said is wrong. RP ,Tubby and Cal have all won once since Indiana has won one!! If I went by your train of thought you would say I am a Bobby Knight fan NO. That was my point thank god we aren’t like them. But we need to get in gear and win a few more like these other folks. Actually werent Ky and Indy tied at 5 and we won 3 more. I swear the last UNC title the fix was in for them. We got Higgins screw job and I think the game before Arkansas got robbed against them. The refs gave UNC that game.
I can handle 9-16.
I can even handle a first round loss to St. Peter's in the first round.
What I can't handle is what happened with the Sharpe fiasco. That was unforgivable.
Our bread and butter is our NBA product (at least it has been under Calipari). We needed the boost that would have come with Sharpe's imminent NBA success and a season of hype and title contention at Kentucky.
All of that vanished the moment Cal and Sharpe colluded to play BBN the way they did.

You could add a couple more things Cal has done to the program. Hand wringing vs pointing out real issues are quite different things. Maybe we have a pretty good season next year, maybe we don't ,but Cal hasn't done his job very well over the past two years. He seems to have lost focus on what he is here to do.
I hope Sharpe is gone, we don't need him around the program even if he is the second coming of Jordan, David Thompson and Reggie Miller all rolled into one.
