So, unless one is thrilled with MR's extremely marginal results we're then "MR haters!!!"
My God......how stupid can this get?
I guess Im looking at the big picture, I grew up watching NU football during the 70's 80's and 90's. and I don't remember firing the coach every other year. in fact one big plus is we had a lot of coaches with decades of experience. so when we would play another team, all of milt's and dan young boys knew who they were going to block. mcbride had a good clue of who need to do what also. It also seemed like Dr. Tom had a lil system going himself. this experience seemed to pay off.
we have had 3 coaches since Dr. Tom left and kept them an average of lets say 4 years. how has this panned out for us?
where do we find ourself today?
is this high coaching turnover a wise thing?
the results I have seen suggest not.
I have no problem with real NU fans being upset. what I do have a problem with is knee jerk reactions that will leave NU going thru coach after coach without them building anything.
we gave spaz bo like 7 years, and now we want to can riley after not even 2 and a half years? this seems questionable to me.
expecially when riley is probably trying to do the hardest thing possible, building a pure passing offense at Nebraska.
