They also receive the ultimate favoritism by the media and NCAA. Ya know, the entities that are both hated by the majority of followers.

Can't for the life of me imagine why you'd ever find a Duke thread on KY's board. I'm sure Duke has never had a UK thread as well.

Is this about Bandidwith? Is it still possible to run out of that stuff?

the funny thing though, is that when ESPN spends what the annoyingly vocal portion of this board figures to be an excessive amount of time covering Duke, those same voices throw a fit.
So is the media supposed to play by different rules ? Wouldn't some of the same reasons you gave for there being so many Duke threads on here also apply to why the media covers them ad nauseum ?
