Yeah, I get that but I wouldn't call it a tradition. By definition, tradition is something established and passed on from generation to generation.
I personally do not think all red looks that great. I prefer the traditional colors. The road all whites are not my favorite, but I think it is a better look than all red.
Hey, I don't know where to comment on this so I will do it here. I am bald, not much moss on the top of my head so I am admittedly jealous of Matt's hair. When I see his glistening head as he is prowling up and down the sidelines during a game, I see a very thin scalp. Lots of open patches. Then when I see a picture of him standing next to new pledge Matt Erickson, he looks like he has more hair than a labradoodle. What gives?
Yeah, probably too early to technically qualify as a "tradition" by the literal definition. According to the googles, they started it in 1999 so it's 27 years running. And they were the first to do it with any kind of frequency that was more than a one-off here and there. I guess if it survives Phil Knight, who's 87, it will then technically qualify, but they're pretty well on their way to it.
