That bottom half of the B bracket is brutal with Elkhorn, Hastings, Waverly and Skutt.

I saw Raymond Central did not play Friday due to their opponents COVID problems, and they were the first ones left out. Did that keep them out of the play-offs? If they had played and won would they have been in?

Yes. If they played and won they would have been in. To make it worse, the game was cancelled late on Friday. So their kids practiced all week and then had the rug pulled out from under them.

My personal opinion- if we are still having this COVID issue next season there should be 2 changes to cancellations.
1- If the game is cancelled the day before the game or later healthy team gets the power points for a win if they want them.
2- There needs to be a set number of players (or % of roster) before a game can be cancelled. Missing 1 or 2 kids shouldn’t cost both teams a game.

If they would have beat Malcolm, they'd have been in as well. This was truly a season that you had to play every game like it was your last. The situation with Louisville sucks, yes. But they ultimately controlled their destiny.
