Read on carolinapreps that Bazzle has told the players he is leaving. Also heard from someone who works at the school this is true. So where do they go from here? Someone on the staff? Were the rumors of Butch Carter true? Or could Tom Harper come back where they love him. If anyone has any info pass it along!

Bazzle will hunt and fish for a year. Then become bored and head back to the field. He can't stay away. Man was so diehard at Newton-Conover he painted his truck Red Devil red when it was repainted.

I would hate to be interviewing for the AC job. They already know who they want. They can pretend to be open to all if they want but ..........

This is a good position if you ask me. You have an entire county backing
one program - something most coaches would love to have.

I agree with the post above. I have some people who are pretty close to the situation who say it's going to be surprising if it isn't Butch Carter.

After sitting out for 18 months and anger management up to date, this
would be a nice fit for Helms and crew! :)

I had no problem with Helms, I got along with him great and I have never said he was a bad coach. He treated me great the two years I worked under him. I could be wrong but I dont see it happening.

I would go after dc from west rowan or oc from Davie co. Someone familiar with rural schools

Butch Carter has been selected and approved by the school board to be the new head football coach effective 2.15.16.

Hearing rumors that South is hiring a guy who was from up north. And not the northern part of this state but the US. An out of state guy, not sure what is bringing him here. Should be announced in the next few days.

You are correct pats. Coached at a private school up there. But...there is some speculation that everything may not be a done deal yet. Hearing he would like for his wife to find a job before he makes the move and word is that she isn't having much luck. So we shall see. It's getting late in the year to not have a coach especially with football classes and spring practice become a much bigger deal these days.
