Im guessing either Nini or Mullen...hopefully both lol.
Nini is ranked #7 nationally at 132 by Willie... Full Circle has him #3 in NJ at 126 behind Stanich and Collins, so it will be interesting to see what weight he goes this year.If it is Nini, he is currently ranked #3 at 126 pounds by jerseywrestling.com and he is only entering his junior year. High upside.
Yeah maybe he’s ecstatic that we added a 6th home match vs Panera Bread StateIt could actually just be that the schedule is finally going to be fully released. But hopefully he’s sticking to “boom” protocol!
You are such a tease Bill, but we appreciate your info.More coming!
My favorite movie!
Who do we have entered besides Nini?Super 32 tournament is just off the hook...The # of Nationally ranked wrestlers attending is just crazy...You even place top 8 here you are big time..I know our staff is attending
Damn a 2 seed losing to a unseeded is a pretty big upset… this is a bit worrisome..Nini who was seeded #2 lost to an unseeded kid 19-9. Didn’t look smart. The kid that beat him is pretty good. Nini got in on the ankle pick. But, did make smart decision. His mistakes can be corrected with coaching. He is positioned well to make a run in the back side.
A lot of seeded wrestlers didn’t show. Field is good but not as good as it looked a few days ago.Super 32 tournament is just off the hook...The # of Nationally ranked wrestlers attending is just crazy...You even place top 8 here you are big time..I know our staff is attending
Still a tough road. If he wins next match then gets the 8 seed, Simcox who is tough. Style seems similar to Olivieri in HS. Lots of tight matches. Lots of development potential in college.Nini wins wrestle back against an unseeded kid by 4 -1. Two takedowns. Couldn’t get off the bottom. His next match against another unseeded kid. He’s in good position to rebound for 3rd place.
He needs to get a lot better if he wants to be a future b10 starter…if he can’t get off bottom going to struggle in college.. still only a junior tho and this is the toughest hs tourney..He lost to the 8th seed who is also a junior by 7-2. Couldn’t get out from the bottom. His primary takedown move is the ankle pick similar to Rivera. With it he often gets in trouble and put on his back - not like Rivera. He needs a lot of work,
Let's pump the brakes and not overreact. He had a bad tournament. It sucks, but it happens. He works extremely hard and has a bunch of good coaches so I'm sure he'll learn from this and rebound. I wonder if 126 is a better weight for him this season. Anyone know his walk around weight? He needs to get a lot better if he wants to be a future b10 starter…if he can’t get off bottom going to struggle in college.. still only a junior tho and this is the toughest hs tourney..
