Alex Doesn't Deserve to Start Another Game

I would give his Minutes to Derek, Mulder and Matthews, take the lumps that come with it and get those guys prepped for a monster year next season. Alex is completely useless, IMO, way too passive and lazy.

Poythress and Lee are what they. They are not go to players that can create on their own. They are complimentary role players that are suffering from not having a true inside game. If we had that both of their games would be much better, and this team would be a true contender. Now we just have to find a way to win enough games to make the tourney, and hope next years team will come together for another title run!!

Until he got hurt, Poythress was a starter on last year's team--one of the most talented in UK history. With Towns and Cauley-Stein on the floor, he could defend on the perimeter and run to the rim for putbacks.

This year, he is stuck being a post guy with his back to the basket much of the time. He can't play that way.

I do not agree. AP played great defense and certainly played better than Marcus Lee. Lee needs to sit down first.

Excluding Alex's big once a month good game against Bama, he has made 7 baskets in the 4 other SEC games. Skal,who has become an absolute joke on the team, has 9 baskets in those 4 games in 20 percent of the minutes Alex has played.
I find it funny that people continue to expect big things from Alex.

Lee needs to sit before Alex, we need someone who has the threat of being an offensive option.Even if it is someone other teams have not seen, they will at least have to account for that person for a little while.

Alex before Lee ....he is more physical and can rebound and hold on to it..plus he blocked at least 3 shots yesterday...he can make free throws.
