I had forgotten that. IF he's redshirting, it sure wouldn't hurt to at least get him up to speed. Mazour played some QB in high school as well and already knows the offense. Man. We're 2 hard hits away from starting a true freshman walk on QB who is more of a pro-style QB without a viable backup to him.
Wyatt Mazor was a stud quarterback in high school. He almost single handedly destroyed Ben Stille's Ashland Greenwood team in the state championship game that was rated 1st or 2nd.

The little bit I think I remember of Mazour throwing the ball was not pretty but I could be mistaken. He could probably Matt Turman us to a win against.....uhhh...we don't play KU do we?

You need a dynamic starting QB
your back up is either someone very young who isn’t quite ready yet or a game manager (Bunch)

Vedral will be able to play next year.
Vedral, Bunch, Martinez, Masker, and McCaffrey make five quarterbacks for 2019, 3 being on scholarship, with only one not having a full year of experience in the system in McCaffrey.
Although it would not have happened anyway because the circumstances were not right according to the rules, they could have kept pressing for Vedral's eligibility for 2018.
Well Maryland had to go 4 deep last year. I'm just talking about having somebody who can take a snap and hand off IF we have an injury disaster. It happens. Hell you have to have 3-4 QBs just to practice effectively.
Maybe the NCAA can rule Vedral eligible the same was they allowed Jessica Shepherd to play immediately after transferring from NU to ND... LINK
There never was a reason given for her waiver, but it could have been due to personal reasons and not due to NDs injuries at the position... who knows.

Women's sports have been handled differently than football. Shepherd leaving was a mutual thing and NU supported her transfer. UCF not so much for Vedral.
