Alabama and Florida Panhandle private schools split

From the AHSAA and FHSAA and will form the Gulf States Independent Athletic Association.

I expect the MAIS will consider some sort of agreement with this association if not a full merger.

I could see the MAIS champions ( mississippi, west Tennessee, Arkansas and Louisiana) playing the GSIAA champions or even a combined playoff.
