Surprised the OP didn't get more replies. I always thought the plan was for Papik to be AD for a couple years until TO was ready to retire from coaching and be AD. As it was future pedo-enabler Graham Spanier hired Dollar Bill. Had Osborne retired in 1997 and become AD, we still would have gotten Solich, but maybe he would have received more help from the department and had more time to get his groove.
Does anyone know how to update someone’s wiki. His lists his Doane coaching info but nothing on his contributions at UNL
