Getting it in early ! This thread has major potential!!!
How long is he under contract? Bring him in as an analyst and set up a Schiano school of busted coaches.

I work want him here as a coach.

I'd take him in a heartbeat! The guy is a great defensive coach, and knows how to recruit the hell out of NJ...and has a TON of contacts in the NJ parochial schools in both North and South Jersey.

We sometimes forget there are those who don't know how Golden and a member of his staff unethically screwed Greg and Rutgers. If it were me I wouldn't hire him to sweep the concourse around the stadium unless he agreed to do it with his tongue.
I had forgotten about this. Didn’t it involve D’Onofrio joining his staff as DC?
This is why I laugh when so called diehard Rutgers fans mention Al Golden in the same sentence as Schiano. Can't be that in tune with Rutgers football if you don't recall the crap that went down.

Not sure why fans wouldn't want Al as an assistant. Guy has a wealth of experience in the NFL and college plus he's an excellent recruiter.
I believe that the allegation has to do with negative recruiting vs RU when Golden was at Temple.
Someone needs to be fitted for big boy pants.
do you think Schiano wasn’t negative recruiting Rutgers when he was at OSU? Come on man! It goes with the territory. I would argue that adding Golden would be a stronger move than adding Campanile, though I’d be happy with Campanile.
