Again, Gleeson must go.

Who you replacing Gleeson with? Aurich? The experience level gets pretty think after that. I guess Mike Gundy was running the offense at OK State. They were effective on offense before Gleeson was there and haven't missed a beat since he left.

I don't see a change at OC in part do to the dollars involved. Doesn't he had a mult-year contract? GS needs to figure this out at practice rather than having these exasperated public discussions on the sidelines. Maybe Gleeson needs to move upstairs.

So are fans going to blame Gleeson for the losses in 2003 to UConn up 17-3 half, losing 31-38 or BC up 22-13, losing 25-35, 2004 New Hampshire up 24-14 and losing 24-35, 2005 Illinois up 20-7, losing 30-33 in OT, 2007 Cincy up 17-7, losing 23-28 or Louisville up 28-17, losing 38-41, and so on though Schiano 1.0 years. Schiano has always coached this way up 7,10,13,14,17,whatever the number and sitting on leads relying on his "DEFENSE". Why are we surprised this is happening in 2022? I'm not, and it won't change. That's why he always had an 8-9 win ceiling each year.

Nice try. In every single game you reference, RU scored over 20 points or much more. Not so in this time around. Sure, GS is the one constant and needs to shoulder much of the responsibility. But that doesn’t absolve Gleeson of anything. His offense is pitiful. Period.

There were better QBs on the roster back then than any of the 4 options that we have on the roster right now, of Vedral, Simon, Wimsatt or Langan. Vedral is a mobile QB, throws a good ball inconsistantly, and wears down as he throws more passes, Simon is a more consistent thrower but not very mobile from the pocket, Wimsatt is a very mobile QB but the coaches don't trust him to throw consistently down the field, and Langan isn't a full time QB and is in the role that he should have. All Gleeson is doing is game planning to the strengths of each QB and avoiding their flaws and weaknesses.

You can’t possibly believe the last sentence when the evidence is so to the contrary. His game plan is to showcase Korsak’s strengths.

How hard is it to hand the ball off to 27 they can all do that
How about a screen pass how about stop the stupid stop motion and delay plays
Stop backward pitches how about quick sideline passes to receivers in motion moving forward
How about use the middle of the field once in a while!!!!

Stop the stupid slow QB taking a snap in a stand still position with taking 2 steps and crashing into the line vs handing the ball off to the next Calvin Hill!!!’

Sam Brown should have been given the rock 10-12 more times . I can understand Schiano’s patience with Gleason ‘s game plan but it is now time for Greg to perhaps re evaluate a little bit more.

Schiano needs to scout this offense like an opposing DC/HC.

Then every time he says.. when I see this, I'd have teh defense do that... plan for the THAT.. and make the offense do something that exploits THAT.

Example: Langan taking the snap means a wildcat run between the tackles. The defense will run blitz.. LBs and Safeties will bite up against the run unless they put 8 in the box and they have to cover someone 1 on 1. So the better play-call from that same look would be to do ANYTHING BUT run it up the middle. Pitch out to a man in motion like Cruickshank.. a pop pass to a TE who chips a DE/LB on teh way out up the seam... ANYTHING but run it right up the gut.

Come on Schiano... help that offense out. Show us something.

Few Comments:
1. Brown makes some good runs and then sits- Remember Greg commenting how the portal has changed things ? They are afraid to lose people if they don’t get enough touches. So Brown doesn’t get the bulk of touches. It’s like RB rotation. Brown could be the next Ray Rice.
2. Gleeson is deer in the headlights every time he is on Camera . Needs to go
3. Agree play calling at critical times was terrible. When Vedral couldn’t go, they should have gone to Johnny because he is calm and protects the ball Not for the Langan package but mostly with Brown as RB. All we needed to do was run the clock. The game losing play was Evan taking the sack when we were in FG position.
