batting at a .370 clip. We are only at a .289 average. Cowbell, I'm afraid that you thought we were gorilla mashers because of the pitching that they faced in practice.

I'm going to hold off on criticizing the offense. While the BA is only .289, they did score 23 runs in 3 games. And as someone else posted yesterday, usually at the beginning of the season the pitchers are ahead of the hitters, so we should get better offensively over the next month or so. We'll never hit .330, be we don't have to hit anywhere near that to have a good offensive team.
