I pretty much want every SB ad to be funny. When they are super PC (ahem Bloomberg) or awkward, I don't like it because the wrong thing said in response potentially sets off a firestorm in the group you're with. Don't need that in my own living room.

Usually Doritos is the best. Not this year. Hyundai commercial hit it because you like the actors, it was a funny parody, and you knew what the product was.

The Groundhog Day one was good but it was on Twitter in the morning so I had already watched it which took the steam out of it a bit

I'm fine with political adds, and they don't bother or influence me in the least. I already know who I'm voting for anyway, and I ain't naming names, but it rhymes with rump.

The only problem I have with them is that some claim to be factual when they’re not and people don’t bother to fact check their claims.

I liked Cheetos/MC Hammer, Google and Bill Murray (whatever he was selling). The rest of them were marketing departments wasting a bunch of money, IMO. Apparently electric cars will be a thing soon.

That Google commercial was touching..

Good Lord.. And you think the PC crowd is too sensitive.
You get over reaction to PC commercials and complaints that the halftime show was too ****** (from a board that enjoys yoga pants threads and has coined the phrase "pics or GTFO"). Mods should probably just merge this with the "OK Boomer" thread

Just saw the entire "Take it to the house" commercial. I just caught the tail end when the kids came on the field last night. Where I was watching the game, it was loud, so couldn't hear much. Did they merge the commercial with a live shot of the kids coming onto the field at the Super Bowl? It looks like that's what they did anyway.

Really liked that commercial. Especially when the music and fanfare stopped, and the kid stops in front of the Tillman statue. Amazing moment.

Yep. The commercial ended right where the kids came running out on the field past a lot of hall of famers in the tunnel. The entire pre-game was really well done.

I like my message board with a slice of raunch, and my halftime shows wholesome. Guilty.

The Trump ad was dead last (snicker snicker). 62nd out of 62 ads. And the Marvel's "Black Widow" ad was 35th. I guess there is some hope for the future of America after all.. :D

One of my favorites was the Weather Tech ad with the golden retriever, that survived cancer on his heart. I'm a sucker for any video with a golden retriever or labrador, or any big dog breed for thatt matter. Especially if the dog had a 1% chance of survival, and beat the cancer.

Too many cranky conservatives on this board itching for every opportunity to impose their views.

I didn't mind the yoga pants thread. Hubba hubba. Although I think there are some guys here that have a significant 'big butts' fetish.

Super Bowl halftime shows are generally really bad, because the music sucks and dancing choreography is in general just comical. The only one I've really enjoyed a lot was this one..

Yeah, that there USA Today sure is a liberal rag, isn't it? Especially if you are watching the 700 Club and Lawrence Welk reruns daily. Jeesh..

No way is some Trump ad getting a good rating by USA Today regardless of how good it may be.

I don’t mind them but none have really stood out all that much to me. I think the creativity of it all is impressive, the performers kind of just go along with it all.

i think it was the olympics that did a drone show in one of their ceremonies and it was pretty cool. I would mind seeing them add something like that to a Super Bowl show..
