We know you're loving it Brucie... That **** was killing you after Wandale dropped the wide open pass and Adrian put it on his shoulders and made it happen... This loss was on Frost and you know it... But hold your position brother... Its all good....

Uhhhh We scored on that drive. This loss is on Frost but it's on Adrian too. Don't be surprised to see Mcaffrey this season

honestly, Adrian is just not a competitive type of person..

there were times he ran out of bounds when he could have gotten more yards and still not taken contact, or tried to get the first down, and I don't mean the close one on where they re-spotted it either.

it was only after Frosts urging, that he tried to be a little more physical, and did have a nice run for a td, but this tough guy thing isn't who he really is.

in tough games when you really need it, Martinez doesn't seem to have it.

it's going to be long year even with the favorable schedule.

Frost said what he wanted at QB, but fails to see Adrian is missing some of those traits. He's not tough, he's not a leader, and he's not a competitor.

Some guys can't perform under pressure.

If I were the coach, I'd be switching to someone who has more of those traits, even if they are not as physically gifted.. but ppl can carry on with their heisman hype and this supposed glorious freshman year going 4-8..

You must be relieved to be proven right. You clearly take great pleasure in being right.

Just for the record, husker fans didn’t start the heisman hype. It was national media. Husker fans have simply repeated it.

There’s definitely a deer in the headlights look this year that we didn’t see last year. Not sure why, but it is clearly evident.

He seems to be thinking too much. And he's only looking at the deep routes and doesn't have the confidence to throw them right now. He needs to hit some of those underneath routes to get some confidence. They've been open, he's just not seeing them.

He’s just another QB in a long line of QB’s that will never reach his potential. But hey...atleast we don’t have to worry about him going pro next year.

Adrian is like the Anti-Tommy Armstrong. Tommy wasn't physically gifted like Adrian, but he had the intangibles that Adrian doesn't. He was a winner, a leader, and he made big plays under pressure.

My post-game angry ranting aside, I think the summer QB camps and work really screwed up Martinez.

He's no longer a gunslinger. He's a running back trying to be Peyton Manning. He's out there analyzing things, trying to look at 4-5 receivers every down, and it has made him incredibly hesitant. How many times was he back there, 4-5-6 seconds after the snap, still holding the ball, while things were crashing down around him? Instead of just playing the game, making things happen, he's trying to do everything right. And all that thinking has made him incredibly slow.

I said earlier that it looks like he's been over-coached. The whole offense does, honestly. Simplifying things and cutting some pages from the playbook might help out our offense.
