First of all, it is common to award ambassador positions to donors. Right? I can find articles going back to W giving away ambassadorships to donors. Looks like Obama and Trump have continued that BS. Second Obama is not the sitting President. Why can't he take that contract?

He can...I actually have no problem with it. I think the OP was simply pointing out some rather obvious hypocrisy on your side since no one even raised an eyebrow about this and you guys are ready to impeach Trump for simply booking reservations at Mar a Lago!

The secret service has to rent rooms there and rented office space at the trump tower. Although I think they moved out of the tower. I read that the secret service is charged to use the golf carts they follow trump around in. I haven't verified that. Therefore, if true, trump is profiting from his use of his own resorts.

Trump doesn't even draw a salary! What are you talking about? Secret service would have to pay no matter where they stay...the fact they're paying @ one of Trump's places is about as relevant as if they were paying at one of Bob Iger's Disney hotels.
