If you noticed what most people here said was.. they are on the couch rather than at the game.

You can do that in any state.. except, perhaps, West Virginia, where you may need a flame retardant suit to safely watch a game from the couch.

118 no longer has a junior high configuration. It was always embarrassing to view in person and on tv.

what is 118?

Cant blame Hobbs on extension it was in original contract that most agents insist that any NCAA infractions from prior regime, extend current contract by years..

Has anyone confirmed that it required exte sion by 5 yrs? That was ludicrous for an unproven coordinator.

118 sucked only ones mad are typical RU fans who want to sit close and pay nothing for it. It’s the BIG TEN and that costs money.

If you draw a 50 mile radius around Rutgers, there are more people than probably any other power 5 school in America. There are so many potential fans it's crazy. There are also so many other things to do in that same radius. So when RU is good the potential is almost limitless. When they suck, people rather do other things.

With those helmets too, and the uniforms, if we put a contendwr on the field, under the lights, the bandwagon and ticket sales/merch sales etc will be insane .

Stated on this board today 2 things that have been familiar themes:
1. Hobbs is a great fundraiser, but we don’t have any funds.
2. Shea was a great game coach, but he lost almost every game.

And that statement isn't as clever as you seem to think.

I’m sure he’s paying attention but there is not much he can do because we are financially strapped right now. If this Board can come up with $9m then maybe you get action.

Watched a lot of games today. Have come to realize with have an FCS roster right now. Most of that is Flood’s fault due to depleting the cupboard. However, Ash gets some blame for not getting recruiting traction to date and making bad coaching hires in his first two years. Flood resulted in loss of scholarships and bad hires resulted in players that don’t fit or are no longer here. The problem got compounded when the knuckleheads in he credit card fraud ring further destabilized an already questionable depth roster.

Whether we like it or not we do have another 2-3 years of a rebuild, with or without Ash, given the current roster. The severe lack of depth will make us look like a mid tier FCS school for 2-3 years.

It’s not a rebuild if you get worse every year! Why do people keep saying rebuild when Floods recruits and team were much better than this disaster?

Hobbs is the one that hired this zero so he’s the one that needs to come up with the money or fire his *** too!

So if we didn’t put that in there , for a guy looking for his first head coach gig and the biggest paycheck of his life, he wouldn’t have taken the job?
It seems we underplay our leverage in every negotiation we take part in..

Really appreciate stories like this. No way to know if they are true (.5 Prob?) but they sound great, emphasizing that RU fans should keep the faith. Like what have I already been doing since 1970?
.5 probability? Really? I've got better things to do than come here and make crap up thank you very much.

The extension wasn't required, it was handed out. The standard language of the original contract was fine....

Looks even worse now. Like an Airport bar. Should have expanded the section not shrunken it. Lets make the RAC even smaller! We're in the B1G now. No vision.

Not sure why you think bleachers look better than the loge seating. The RAC currently has plenty of seating. When we start winning consistently we can then worry about an expansion
