Funny how the Duke writer comes up with a different conclusion than the original 247 article.
Using HS stats is misleading. Flagg plays on the top team in the country at Monteverde. He doesn't need to put up video game numbers because the team is loaded. Ace on the other hand has much less around him this year with JMike at RU and another player transferring out. So he's doing it all for McEachern.
How they play on the EYBL and other competitions is more important.
Additionally, I wouldn't get so hung up on who's #1. Flagg, Ace & Dylan could all be that guy. Just enjoy the fact that RU has two of the best players in the country coming next year.
Just watching Ace play, he is one of the best high school players I have seen in a long time.
Is Harper's knee the same one dinged up a little last year? Knee injuries and basketball never seem to go away.
Ace’s ranking at #2 or 3 is not going to effect his play or our recruiting class ranking. That said, nobody would be surprised if Ace turns out to be the best player in college basketball next year.
