If Forbes supports it, I think it's 90-10 he gets cleared.

It's like proposing to your girlfriend of 5 years. You're pretty certain she's going to say yes. But she may also have realized how immature you are. Fingers crossed. I'll be over the moon once the waiver is approved.

It was satire. There was nothing wrong with his post. Every time Dave posts anything, people accuse him of stealing info & passing it is as his own. I was satirizing them.

Ty for splainin. I was like "wtf's a guy got to do..."

That's good. Hopefully we'll know by the end of Aug if he will get to play. 50/50 I'm thinking.
If Forbes isn't going to object, then on what basis would he not be allowed to play this year ? I'm just asking. I really don't know much about the rules.

Sarr may very well get the waiver but it is absolutely not a done deal. To say it’s a done deal is completely incorrect.
Always so negative. Does this give you pleasure? Glass always half empty. Enjoy life and try thinking positive just one time. I promise you’ll like it. Come on just give it a try.

Not like Forbes has a choice. He looks like even more of cry baby douche (after his comments) if he doesn’t “support the player”. Would hurt his future recruiting.
Exactly. Also, my wife seems to think that his comments regarding UK will hurt his recruiting as well. I tend to agree.

Never have been concerned about Sarr or Williams being eligible , never will be. The NCAA is going to be super loose this summer due to covid. They might not pass the 1 time transfer rule yet but they basically are going to act like they did. An Ncaa guy even said that basically 2 weeks ago.

Forbes already looked like a gigantic douche with what he said about U.K. he would be murdered to try and block him from playing while actively building his team in the same manner.
Well, he's a coach in the ACC. Having a double standard is standard for them.

Ha. So much ignorance has moved into this board you can’t joke around much anymore due to the seriousness of most stupid comments. Hard to tell what’s a joke and what isn’t.
That plus it’s hard to convey joking around just by typing. I figured the all caps plus double LOL would be enough but not everybody knows my typing style right off the bat.

Anyway, I digress.... I do hope Forbes’ support will give Sarr’s waiver the extra push it needs to go through

I think you're absolutely correct. Unless you happen to know the comment came from a reliable and quality member like @jrpross

It was immediately obvious to me, but I can see how folks didn't pick up on it. I thought it was brilliant

I posted this link not necessarily because of “transfer waivers,” but because it illustrates the financial implications the NCAA is facing at this moment.

Simply put: the NCAA needs talented players to promote, and they need Kentucky to be the best team in the country next year to draw television interest and money.

Folks, there’s no way Sarr—even Williams if he commits—is not eligible; the NCAA needs his talent to promote their amateur sports model, and to counter the progression of the G-League that has now infringed upon the NCAA’s talent base.

They [NCAA] have enough issues to worry about; the last thing they need is more “bad press” because they wouldn’t let a couple amateur athletes change programs over unforeseen circumstances.

Relax, they’ll receive their waiver. Just enjoy this re-load and our upcoming opportunity to beat the hell out of Bill Self this year.
