Wow, I thought the all mighty ACC was so tough because they are the toughest league in the country!! Coach Brey thinks we are not tournament tested. Well guess what, this is UK; what history does ND have of being in final 4. Card fans keep talking about the ACC and how great they are. Don't forget the MVC, Metro, Conf USA, ACC. The nomads don't deserve a vote that! Tough game, give credit to ND. Happy to be moving forward.
The commentators were so bias.

The ACC is better than the SEC, but it was champ vs champ tonight and UK prevailed. ND falling short in this game though isn't a reason to bash the ACC though.

Louisville has their own game tomorrow and shouldn't be a point of discussion in this one.

Notre Dame is at the top of their game right now and gave us all we could handle, we were very fortunate tonight to win that game. That last shot could have went in.

The butthurt on the Loserville boards is delicious. They love to live through conference teams. Probably because they suck do hard.

Stop giving the SEC credit for Kentucky's achievements. I'll bet twenty people in the rest of the southern states were watching this game, and they probably rooted for Notre dame.

Kentucky is great. That is all that was proved tonight.

N.D. is one hell of a team. I have nothing negative to say about them. They took us as far as a team could.

You're right Sham...burger! Crappy post. I am tired of hearing how great the ACC is and how much the SEC sucks. My point is that it doesn't matter because will don't wilt when the going gets tough. There is too much history at UK and no credit for being in the Championship Game last year or the tough pre season schedule. We play in a crappy conference and we will wilt in big games because their league is so tough! It doesn't matter because we have been there and done that!!!!!!

The point being made is that if UK was in the ACC we would not be undefeated. Plus being in the SEC made us untested for games like this. He does not need to grow up when making a valid point.

I definitely underestimated ND. They were impressive and they spread you out like NBA team, damn.

Stevegro, I could care less about the best league. Yes, I agree that the ACC was the best conference but guess what it doesn't matter that the SEC was as strong. The bottom line is it doesn't matter how weak SEC is. Cats play a tough pre conference schedule as anybody but don't act like it a prideful thing to say your the best conference because all that matters is KY is still playing! Props to ACC! ND was terrific. But that terrible SEC team is still playing despite we haven't been tested!!

The OP is the type of guy that gets us made fun of. ACC was clearly better than the SEC. The best team in the SEC (and the country) almost lost to the 3rd best team in the ACC. They still have two teams playing. As Kentucky fans, we pick too many fights. Give others their due. ND was the best team we've played so far. Their coaches had a great game plan. We fortunately won. If Aaron's stretch three doesn't go in, we probably lose. No need to to make fun of the ACC.

Honestly who cares about conference strength, the SEC has no love for Kentucky and that is obvious by the officiating we endured all year. I doubt any SEC team outside of maybe Alabama was rooting for us. You get battle tested in any conference by playing game on the road and playing a strong non conference schedule. Every major conference has a contender or two but I honestly could care less about the ACC and their strength. Any fan base that hides behind the strength of their conference is really a joke. Uconn won it last year and the Big East was garbage except for a couple teams.
