I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.
Pretty sure he just landed before that shot left his hand (I guess you could call that an extra step?). But they also didn't review those back then, or at least they didn't review that one. Today, they reviewed and botched the obvious call.
My doctor asked me, "How many beers are you having per week?" I responded, "Is that before, during, or after the Raiders and Duke seasons?"

The ACC has announced they will replace these refs with Ronnie Milsap, Stevie Wonder, and Andrea Bocelli in the future. So, there we go, folks, problem solved.
The refs suck, but what are we going to do?? They head off to their cocoons with no post game media availability, and therein lies the rub. Until that changes, they are free from truly going under the microscope. They cooked up a cop-out about the contact coming after the buzzer, called for OT, then went on their merry way.

Although with Flips shooting last night he might have missed both FTs anyway.

That doesn’t matter. He deserved the opportunity to attempt 2 FT’s. He only has to make one to win and law of averages says he makes atleast one of the two. Yes Lee Cassell is a Miami grad and is the one who stole a quad 1 win from us. My only hope is the committee recognizes the admitted error and thar is thought of on selection Sunday.
Wow! Can you image a Duke grad doing this if the roles were reversed? The meltdown would last for centuries.

Bleed made the correct call upon further review...something that the refs did not do and now the ACC is feeling the pressure.

The problem is Jim that the ACC won't do anything to these refs. Now, if it had happened to the cheaters, there would be a senate committee and an investigation to get to the bottom. It's a farce.
Agreed, I'm still fired up. I know I've said this probably 5-6 times here in the last 12 hours or so, but with the ACC making a public statement like that- I'm hoping that was directed right at the committee for selection Sunday. It simply has to come into play if we end up on the bubble.

At this point Scheyer and Duke need to speak up. Twice we have been screwed by officials not knowing the actual rules of the Game! How are you allowed to be an official and not know the rules?

It's just like society in general. No one is held accountable any more and these officials will not be held accountable either. They will get the paycheck for this game and put it in the bank. OFC
I hate to bring this up, but this team seems snakebitten. It could change, but so far this team can't catch a ******* break.
I'm glad our game is on Tuesday, not Monday. Hoping the emotions of losing a game they were robbed of puts a fire under everyone's *** within the program. Win Tuesday and believe it or not, we are probably fine.
Lose Tuesday and we are absolutely, positively on the bubble. We need to beat FSU and ND. Win Tuesday, 18-8 puts us around a 7-8 seed.
Copout. I'm overworked, but if I make a mistake, I own up to it and am held accountable by my superiors. If they can't do it, don't sign up for it. Go do something else.
