College football is now about spreading everybody out, trying to leverage a big play. Guys realize now that you can't do a 4 yard run and a cloud of dust.

Yet ESPN puts down the Big 12 as a non defensive conference but says nothing about ACC being a bad defensive conference. Not really speaking about spread offenses but with media types claiming Big 12 doesn't play defense but no claims about ACC and poor defense. Turns out ACC is worse than Big 12.
