Can we all come to grips that the ACC is a better Conference than the Big12 in both football and basketball this year? Can we now turn the page and move onto 2019/2020? Would it just be pathetic at this point to argue anything different than that fact?

Thoughts?

ACC football was the most topheavy P5 conference in nearly the last 20 years. This is a troll Post

I don’t really care tne way or the other. I seriously doubt you would be coming to the conclusion that the B12 is better if TT would have won. So although I respect your right to your opinion, it lacks a certain validity based in concept. Based on your logic, you would also have to surmise that the B12 is better than the B10 in football and basketball, right? Oklahoma made the playoffs in football again and the B10 did not again. And TT made the championship game in basketball (and also won the women’s title) and Michigan State did not.

A few years ago Coastal Carolina won the title in baseball. Did that mean their conference was the best baseball conference? Villanova won 2 of the last 4 titles in basketball. Was the Big East the best? Was it better than the Big 10 or ACC?

That said, I was not worried about TT winning a national title. TT winning last night would have in no way enriched my life. I enjoy the sport and can watch a game without having a vested interest in who wins or loses. I don’t have 37 fall back teams to claim as a favorite if one of my many other favorites fail to get the job done, but I don’t fault those that feel the need to claim a new favorite each week. It doesn’t take anything away from me if they choose to cheer the way they want.

It’s all a game and unless you are a coach or player or administrator. None of the rest is really that big of a deal in your life unless you allow it to be. So arguing over who has the best team or conference is fun, but doesn’t mean anything.

Wrong again. From pure Power Rating analysis Texas Tech would be rated higher than Virginia.

Tech beat a 2, 1, 2, 6 and 14. All rather soundly. And then TIED a 1 in regulation.

UVA beat a 5. 3, 12, 9 and 16. Struggling to get by several of them. And then TIED a 3 in regulation.

By ANY metric, Texas Tech would have more power points and would be the higher/highest rated team.

Purely an objective analysis of each teams performance in the Tourney.

Conferences don't matter in basketball

Unlike Football the NCAA runs basketball

90% of the money goes to the NCAA in basketball
People don't watch regular season basketball.
In Football 100% of the money goes to the conferences.
NCAA makes 0 dollars off of football

And it would be a whole lot better without you and your 25 other profiles.

So you allow GregJacobs and the rest to run around here unchecked.

Like I have said....
This board was horrible even before I posted on here.
Maybe people like you should look in the mirror and wonder why you allow an Anti West Virginia message to dominate your own board.

They are laughing at you...

It is well known that West Virginia will never be in the ACC
Why do you think some people want to portray the ACC as a superior Conference?

Hello turd boy. I know for fact WVU will never be in the ACC. What does this have to do with the Big 12 not winning championships?

Greg can't add. WVU was the last team to beat Texas Tech by a whopping 17 points. Virginia only beat them by what, 9? By Pitt and Marshall logic, WVU is National Champion. Hail WVU!

Good thing the ACC/Big 12 isn’t one team and it is judged on its strength as a whole

I am advertising for this site.
I much rather be on this site than enjoying a round of golf at Pebble Beach.

I did both Texass!!! Played Cypress Point this morning Texass. I assume you’re a poor that can’t appreciate what I just posted. Look up the top 10 courses in America. Then look up the most exclusive courses in America. Cypress Point is Augusta Texass. I’m living the dream.

Most teams in tourney. Most teams in Sweet16. National Champions in both major sports. Keep up the good Big12 homer fight.
I mean go look at Kenpom ratings for the two. I don’t think anyone is arguing that the ACC had the best too three teams. It was just extremely weak after that.
